"Such an unexpected find in the heart of downtown Ft. Worth. Went for lunch and we we overjoyed with the food, service and atmosphere. Lunch specials with dinner size portions. We had the lentil soup, lamb medallions and flan for dessert. We also had the Turkish tea to drink. Everything was superb."

"I’ve probably reviewed this restaurant before. It’s the only place we eat when we come to Ft Worth. I’m actually eating lunch and dinner here today. It always exceeds our expectations. Been here 1/2 dozen times. Excellent food (especially the lamb shanks) excellent service and great atmosphere. Subtle background musics. Beautifully lit. It’s hits on all cylinders all the time!!!"

"Great atmosphere, clean, great service, amazing food! My sister and I ate here while on vacation and it was perfect. They had several dishes that we wanted so we ordered four and shared them. Everything we ordered was delicious. If I ever visit Fort Worth again I will definitely be returning to eat here"

"I like Mediterranean food, so my bias is showing. But let me tell you - Do not pass this place up! If you get a chance to eat here, do it. We picked this place in a rush, they seated our incomplete party, treated my wife and I like royalty and served up a number of Turkish staples without delay. I have always thought Americans could take a page from Middle Eastern hospitality and being here confirmed that. BTW the phrase Mid-East was a European term meaning “halfway to Asia”. Turkish food is largely cosmopolitan because it was centered at a major point of trade and it borders Europe and Asia. We had some of the best pita and hummus that I’ve ever sampled. A lamb burger with a semi spicy sauce, hunkarbegindi which offered plenty of “taste dances” across the stage of my palate, lamb shishkabob,, Whiskey, beer and some more whiskey. Oh and some Turkish coffee which looked and tasted like an espresso! Personally I don’t like coffee. There’s nothing worse than a good cup of coffee! I wish we could have stayed and tried the baklava, I love baklava! You might pass this place up by accident, it’s a corner spot, not easy to find in my opinion but I usually have Irish Whiskey coursing through my bloodstream and I’ve actually walked past my wife more than once without realizing she was there. The staff was friendly and attentive, the sincere kind of smiles that you see with kith and kin - not the fake television smiles. Have you ever noticed how unreal TV and YouTube smiles are? Our friends showed up and everyone was in agreement - this place must be Fort Worth’s best kept secret. Well Cowtown you need to spread the word! Istanbul Grill!"

"This place was great. The food was SO delicious. Started with the falafel, which was crispy and delicious. I had the branzino which was cooked to absolute perfection. The skin was so crispy and flaky and the fish was tender and light. The flavors on the veggies were delicious. My husband had the chicken tava. I tried it and it was so delicious as well. Again, the flavors were bold but very well balanced and not overbearing at all. We finished with baklava and it was the perfect amount. I highly recommend this restaurant. Our service was great. It was fast but not rushed."
