"We were excited that a new vegan take out place had opened near us, so we gave them a try ASAP. I ordered a meatball marinara sandwich and of course did not get it. Not only did I not get it, but my phone calls were not answered (first call just prior to their opening hours 11:00am I was actually hung up on). Following their directions online- I text my car description to their phone number indicating that we were outside their suite. The restaurant supposedly is located in a hair salon named Emerald Gems, but there was not any sign of people inside the closed off business. We did not receive our food nor did we get any type of communication from High Vegan. Maybe the name of the establishment should have been a foreshadowing of the owners' mindset. Very shady operation with absolutely no communication, and a very sketchy part of town as well. I will be getting my money back and will not give this place another try. Very disappointing experience."
