"(Update 12/15/23, they messed up again so I'm removing another star. Ordered 2 chicken fried chicken meals and one is quite a bit smaller than the other.) Normally my go to place For delivery. I typically get the chicken fried chicken/steak or tenders but this time I Ordered burgers and meatloaf. Portion sizes were good for everything except the meatloaf. Definitely not enough to feed someone for dinner. Also, the rolls were overcooked and hard as though they were leftover from lunch. So disappointing."

"I've been coming here for Veterans Day for a while and was always served the full chicken fried steak as advertised and the service was always great. This year, Cotton Patch advertised the meal just as before, so I was expecting the same meal. (I should've suspected something when the waitress said that substituting fries was extra.) What they brought was the smallest chicken fried steak I've ever seen. I am not complaining about the free meal. I do appreciate it. However, I don't appreciate the bait and switch, advertising one thing, then providing the junior version. The food I received was good and it was fresh. (I waited until mid-afternoon so I wouldn't have to wait.) The waitress came across as though she wasn't going to get a tip. (I always tip what the meal would have cost, not what I paid.) After the food was brought, she stopped by once, and never looked my way again. I finally got up and approached the counter to ask her if she needed to see my ID when the manager asked if I needed anything. I asked him my question and he replied that they don't ask for proof of military service. I also asked if I was served the junior version and he said it was and that this year "they" decided that's what it would be. Whoever made the decision to make that change without advertising what they actually intended to serve made a mistake."

"The atmosphere was nice and tidy. The food was amazing, with huge portions and outstanding prices. I have heard mixed reviews about Cotton Patch, so I was weary to try it out. I am so glad I did! Nothing but a full belly and enjoyable food! I would recommend and will be back to visit in the future. We had the fried flounder. The fried green tomatoes all the food was fresh and very tasty!"

"Took a while to even be noticed at the door. Restaurant had plates sitting on the surrounding tables most of my meal. The food was good, not great. Baked potato was very small for an upgraded side. My waiter was inattentive and slow. Most of the staff was in back the whole time I was there, despite customers needing items. Definitely do NOT come here. The Original Neal's is 100% BETTER in EVERY WAY."
