"Visited on a Monday afternoon for the first time. This place is a hidden gem in Mcallen!! The decor and wall paintings are beautiful. You walk in and sit where you like. You will need to scan the QR code to get a menu. Tried the Tacos Matamoros with bistek meat. Excellent in my opinion; as authentic as it gets. The lemonade has refills which not a lot of other restaurants offer. I would 100% recommend you visit this establishment."
"We just left had the best dinner. We met the owner Robert so nice he even sang karaoke for us he is an amazing singer. Highly recommend this place."
"The Huevos Rancheros were okay, for $6.99 you get 2 eggs, potatoes and refried beans (the bacon was $1 extra). The eggs were almost cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was a bit spicy but it had a good taste, the potatoes were made fresh to order but could have used some seasoning, the refried beans were good and the bacon was crispy and tasty. I also tried their enchiladas mexicanas and I wasn't impressed they needed more flavor, I would have liked if they did enchiladas potosinas instead. Overall the breakfast was okay and the service was good."
