"The food is great. A couple times we've gone, the baked potato had dark yellow/ black spots like when the potatoes are old & those parts did not taste very good. Another time, the tostadas were chewy instead of fresh & crunchy. Tacos are always on point! However, the customer service from the girls who come to your vehicle is BAD & POOR. BEWARE, these girls will take their tip whether you give it to them or not. Especially the "blonde" looking one who said her name was Miley/ Mily. They are basically stealing at least one dollar from customers who pay with a card. This has happened to us multiple times. They will tell us one price, we hand them our card, come home & check our transactions & the amount they charged is different, *more. Best advice (& we have done this just to test them & see how they charge & the difference in the prices/ amounts they tell you), pay in CASH! That way you give them the exact amount. We allowed these incidents to slide a few times, but last night, we went back to ask "Miley" because she is the one who charged us, about the amount being charged in our card as opposed to the amount she told us in person & she said, "Maybe your bank is charging you extra when you pay us." She also said, "Oh, it is because of taxes." To which we answered, "Number one, our bank does not charge us extra or hidden fees to buy tacos. Our bank does not charge us extra or more for using our card at a food truck or for eating out. Number two, so why is it that when we pay cash you don't charge us taxes?" And she replied, "We only charge taxes when you pay us with your card." Hmm. Conveniently. Those extra hidden "taxes" only come when we can't tip or simply choose not to tip at that specific moment. Funny thing is, when we were tipping and paid with card, our charged amount would still be different from the total they would verbally give us & significantly higher. Oh, & no receipts! So we stopped tipping. Taqueria Garzita, you make great food but will lose customers because of your servers. As for us, we need to find another decent, honest taco place with no extra, hidden fees and stolen tips!"

"Had to try it because my friend recommend it. Atmosphere was great not enough tables but still good. Service was ok, food was too salty and I've had better."

"Great food! This is a total food truck experience. A server greets you as you walk up to the awning covering the seating area and takes your order, answers questions, and makes suggestions. I took food togo - 2 tripas tacos and 1 trompo taco. The order comes with a cup of beans and two kinds of salsa! It was SO GOOD, I'm going back there tonight. It was also a great price - $5! Next time though, I will ask to have each taco wrapped separately so they all aren't as wet. Tacos have cilanto, onions, and cooked onions. FANTASTIC!!"

"Widely recommended, this place has some of the best tacos in the McAllen/Pharr area. Price is great as well and the service is fast. Plenty of parking available!"

"Everything tasted great, but the food poisoning our entire family had to go through was not worth it at all. One family member even ended up in the hospital. Make sure your employees Are washing their hands after going to the bathroom!"
