"I live in Corpus, and we have better Mexican food than here in McAllen. Service is nice however I don't understand why the orders come out separately. The waitress carried two plates one went to our table the other to a different table. The fact they carried my food to another table where guest were talking over my food then brought it to me didn't sit right with me."

"I don’t know if it’s because we came during rush hour? It’s 1:28 and we’re almost finished eating but we ordered a milanesa and they brought the meat all hard. Also whenever we needed salsa or more to drink the waiters acted like they could not see us, we kept saying “miss” or try to get their attention but they would not budge. Overall rude customer service and the food wasn’t that great. From 1-10 I would rate the food a 2 since it’s eatable. One thing for sure are the good portions but that would be it."

"Great food to match the prices. Went on a Saturday morning, and it was a bit crowded. Our server was good but could be a lot better. More tentative to her customers. They do need to hire and recruit more servers and support staff. Overall, all the food seemed very authentic. I would eat here before a Dennys or IHop most definitely."

"I went to Taco Fiesta for breakfast because I heard they have great prices and the food is good. Once seated I was given a menu but I already was in the mood for an omelette. I ordered iced tea instead of coffee for breakfast. The server brought me chips and salsa, and a jumbo sized tea. I asked him about the omelettes, he gave me the run down on all the meat options, but I was not feeling them. I ended up ordering a cheese Omelette A La Mexicana, with Chorizo beans on the side, and corn tortillas. Note: Any Tex-Mex Dish or Taco you order "A La Mexicana" means it comes with diced Tomatoes, Onions, and Jalapenos mixed in. Anyways, the Omelette was good and the refried beans were cooked on point, I like that the beans tasted fried up, and had a thicker consistency. I don't like creamy refried beans, runny beans are often not refried in fat but rather reheated in their liquid then mashed. When it came time to pay, I could not believe my ears, only 8 dollars!! Anywhere else it would have been twice that amount."
