Steak 'n Shake

"1 waitress, couple of cooks. Had yo scan a QR code to get drinks. Nothing in comparison to the way it was before. Sad but it's slowly running itself to the ground. Burgers are pre cooked and just heated on the grill. Unlike before made when ordered."

"Great burgers! Wasn't a huge fan of the shake, the whipped cream seemed to not have any flavor. The register informs you after checking out that you have to scan your QR code at the drink machine to unlock the machine, however, the pop-up disappears too quickly and wasn't helpful. Had to ask an employee for help, and felt bad for waving her over after she explained. It also seems Steak 'n Shake is trying to limit staff interaction with customers, as most everything is automated here. All that said, the burger are really delicious."

"I went here years ago, while I was still in high school, and the service was so so bad that I can't help but leave the review of that day now. My family went to this steak and shake after going to six flags, an all around perfect day, until we went to steak n shake. It was wayyy before the pandemic so there were still waitresses. We were sat down at the largest table and waited...and waited...25 min of being seated, no drinks no check in to see if we were served, nothing. We were just sitting there with a couple of crying kids because they were hungry. We sat there until we had enough and proceeded to get up and leave. Before we were out the door I hear "see! I knew they were gonna leave!" And some chatter. Before we got up to leave, people that came in after us were already getting their food and the waitresses were just conversating near the cook station laughing and talking, which was the last straw for us. The service was so horrible that years later I still can't forget it. They betted on us leaving because they didn't want to serve a big group, horrible and unprofessional. I hope those ladies grew the hell up. This all happened in between 2015-2017, I have forgotten the exact date."

"I've been to several steak and shakes, and this is by far the worst one. I paid $30+ for a very sad meal. The ladies at the serving counter didn't get me everything i ordered/asked for. The place isn't very clean. The energy is a total letdown. It needs some major improvements if it's going to live up to other steak n shakes. The food wasn't all that great either. Im actually very disappointed. $6 for a shiken tender kids meal, and all im getting is 2... i get twice that amount for less at McDonalds."
