"This place is an old restaurant, with good prices but the inside of the place could use some work. The prices are very affordable I ordered the huevos rancheros and for $5.75 you get 2 eggs, refried beans, potatoes and bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly over medium, the salsa for the eggs was tasty, the potatoes were crispy made fresh to order, the beans were a bit simple pork lard would help, the bacon was thick and crispy it was really good. Both corn and flour tortillas are not made here, they are store bought, but the flour tortillas are bought raw so it gives them a better taste. The coffee is actually really good and very hot but it costs $3.50. Overall i think this place is crowded due to the Nostalgic effect, but in general the food is good, just the restaurant and restroom need some rework."
"We love coming here. My dad would bring me here to enjoy some breakfast & now I bring my son. When I ask him what he wants for breakfast he always says Rex Cafe! The coffee is always hot. The service is great. The beans used to be watery & the coffee cups were chipped & over used. However they have fixed those issues."
