"I am aware that an urgent care/emergency vet center is always a more expensive visit. However, this center takes it to an entirely different level. Our dog had a cut on her paw pad which was sutured and bandaged. The follow up went well, everything was healing well, the bandage was removed, and we were scheduled to have the stitches out within a couple of days. Our dog got her cone off and removed the sutures herself (totally her own fault/our fault for not having the cone on tight enough!!) and we had to take another trip back to their location. We were told that the wound could be held with skin glue and wrapped with an extra layer of padding so that if our dog got to the bandage, it would take her longer to get to the wound. Totally fine- still no complaints. After less than 24 hours, the bandage was slipping off and our dog was unable to walk. I called and they instructed me to remove the bandage and come in to re-evaluate. I brought her in and the wound actually needed to be sutured again. This was no an issue for us- however, we are regular people with regular jobs… can’t really afford a $1500 vet bill x2. When it’s your pet, this place knows you have no other option. They will absolutely take advantage of you. The vet tech then went on to say that she knew the padding wouldn’t hold when she watched the person wrap it the day before and she also disclosed to me that the vet that day said the wound NEVER should have been glued. Skin glue doesn’t hold a paw pad shut since there is so much tissue. Essentially, I was being told by THEIR OWN STAFF that my visit to their clinic the day prior was completely useless. Naturally, I asked that our bill the day before ($230) be applied to our bill the day of ($1290). The answer was no. Not only that, but the owner of the practice told me that the vet that glued our dogs paw the day prior was an equestrian vet prior and wasn’t used to working on small animals so “this would be a good learning experience for him”. I responded “on my dime? For $230?” And Dr. Shiva shrugged his shoulders. Absolutely ridiculous. We will not be back for our dogs check-up and will be seeing our regular vet for the post-op care. I wish I would have just waited the 6 hours at their emergency vet in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous and no empathy for their customers. Pictured is our dachshund with the “bandage” they gave her that is 2x the size of her paw. Not sure how they expected this to work in the first place. UPDATE AND RESPONSE TO OWNERS COMMENT: I called to speak with a practice manager, not to ask for further discounts. I requested the same thing I requested when in the office- that we were refunded for the visit when our dogs paw was glued and bandaged. Trying to glue our dogs paw did not at all save us money but added a $230 tab onto what we already owed. Also, you did not give a 30% discount on our second suture visit. The initial visit was $1500 and the second visit was $1290. Plus, Blu got one less medication than she did initially which would make the visit cheaper anyways. Dr. Siva- YOU told me that the wound wouldn’t adhere with skin glue because it was on my dogs paw pad. YOU told me this would be a “learning experience” for your vet. You honestly should be ashamed that you would hire someone at a veterinary clinic that doesn’t have experience with small animals and then expect the CUSTOMER to pay for learning experiences. DO NOT SEEK SERVICES AT THIS CLINIC! I promise it is not worth it. $3,000 I’ll never get back and more anger and frustration than I’ve ever had with any customer service experience in my entire life."

"Dr. Siva and Taylor are superstars when it comes to assuring their clients are well taken care of. They have hearts of gold. Thank you for being thorough and caring people. We need more of you in the world. Shout out to Jacee for answering our questions and making us feel comfortable. Our pup had to have emergency surgery and this team definitely marked the 5 C’s to exceptional care! We transferred the care of all 6 of our pets to their practice and I have no regrets doing so."

"UPDATE: I did receive a card in the mail with everyone’s heart felt condolences from the clinic. Thank you for the ones that cared and thank you for the message! My opinion is still the same in regards to the cremation price, but I will raise the star rating from1-3z I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I’m going to give one star because the staff were actually nice the day I brought my dog in who had passed. But this place didn’t provide any services and wants to upcharge for something they didn’t do. My dog weren’t even seen by the vet. My dog recently passed away, I carried her dead body into the clinic (she had already passed away before I drove her up there) they charged me around $400 for a basic cremation, the box my dogs cremation were in weren’t even made out of wood. I paid 400 DOLLARS because I didn’t think I have another choice. When I received the cremation back, I was very happy with the cremation. I called the cremation company forever above and thanked them personally, and just out of curiosity and asked how much they charged. I was told they only charge $200 for a basic package. So basically you’re taking advantage of people who just lost their pet. The clinic didn’t do anything for my dog that had already passed away. NOTHING! All they did was to call forever above the cremation company for them to come pick up my dog and you’re charging me $200 more? For what? She wasn’t even seen by a vet, she had already passed away, you guys didn’t do anything!!!!!! How can you look at someone who’s crying and just lost their dog and have the audacity to charge $200 when you didn’t even provide the service? I called and they said there’s nothing they can do. I’m just at lost of words."

"Out regular vet was closed so I took Jarvis in because he was having seizures. He had never had them before so it was beyond scary. The staff was friendly and very kind to Jarvis and me but, more importantly, Dr. Siwa was good with Jarvis. He examined Jarvis and, in detail, explained the diagnosis and treatment plan. Yes, as others have said, it was quite expensive. With that said, one of the staff provided the cost analysis every step of the way and I could have declined any of the diagnosis procedures, as well as the any of the treatment options. Jarvis is my family and I wanted him to be well so I decided that other expenses would have to wait - Jarvis was my priority. I didn't want him to continue having seizures. They also called the next day to see how Jarvis was doing. I wouldn't hesitate to take Jarvis back, should the need arise."
