Situated on two farm-like acres just 30 minutes from Indianapolis, our guest house offers a relaxing and authentic country setting for guests to enjoy. With a rustic barn, beautiful gardens, and plenty of outdoor space, Prairie Guest House is the perfect place for romantic getaways, elopements, retreats, and more.
Our luxurious suites provide a comfortable and inviting stay, complete with a fresh breakfast served daily. Owners John and Karen Newton have been hosting guests from around the world for over 10 years and have received the prestigious "Hoosier Hospitality Award" from the state of Indiana.
Whether you're looking to host a wedding, reunion, shower, dinner party, or retreat, Prairie Guest House is the ideal venue. With ten guest rooms available for on-site lodging and the option to rent the entire house, we can accommodate a variety of events and gatherings.

The property itself has been gorgeously renovated, decorated, and maintained. The innkeepers treated us all like family, and you can truly see they love this property and what they do."

It was such a quaint and charming place, just what we needed - a place to sleep and have breakfast before catching our mid-morning flight. John even catered to us by providing a warm delicious breakfast before departing early for the airport. The breakfast house was decorated for Christmas and the atmosphere was very welcoming and calming. We will definitely stay here again."

"Bed & Breakfast to accommodate out of town guests for our son's wedding, and everything exceeded our expectations. The facility itself is even nicer than the pictures, and the meals were wonderful. We also hosted a brunch there the morning after the wedding and it was perfect. Karen and her staff went above and beyond to make our guests welcome, and helped through a few panic moments on the day of the wedding! We highly recommend Prairie Guest house."
"This past weekend I hosted a Client Appreciation Event and 30th Anniversary Party for my Real Estate Company at the Prairie Guest House. Everything was beautifully set up and made my party a success with the indoor and outdoor space for my clients and their kids. I have hosted 6 events here and John and Karen, the owners, always make me and my guests feel welcome. The Inside Dining Room is perfect for a Catered Buffet, the Sunroom allows for comfortable indoor seating and the Courtyard is perfect for additional dining options and outdoor games and fun for the kids. Tucco Realty hopes to continue to host future events at this lovely "homelike" venue."
