"We had our worst nightmare here, our fur baby had to be put down. It was the right decision for what he was going through. I hardly ever write reviews but I had to come here and say that this place is really special. They helped us through a very dark time. We originally went to our vet (who had no idea what to do) so we made the decision to escalate to Steel City. Immediately the staff was compassionate and helpful. While we were trying to make a very difficult decision, they brought our baby in the room with us on some blankets and offered him pain medicine. Once we decided, Dr. Stevens walked us through every step and gave us plenty of time to shower our baby with love during his last minutes. I am forever grateful to Steel City Emergency Vets for helping us through a very hard day."
