"If I could give this place less than one star I would definitely do that. They seemed to go out of their way to make it impossible to rent from them. The office staff was entirely incompetent and untrained! They made up their policies on a whim and could never back up their requirements from one day to the next. It may be a win that it didn’t work out to rent one of these appointments but they strung us a long for such a long time that it was nearly impossible to find other housing once they gave us the notice they no longer had vacancy."

"I lived at CV IV and it was fine. The amenities are pretty bad but it's the cheapest apartment around ($700 /mo/1br). Pretty spacious for what you pay (~650 sqft). Laundry room was in a separate building but still close to me (the dryers were bad and you had to typically run them twice). Heating and AC was good. Never had any issues with bugs beyond drain flies. They were reasonable with the security deposit. I did not clean very well at all, kinda wrecked the place, and still got back more than half. Keep in mind with all the complaining about it many people are slobs. Maintenance was always quick, office people were fine, and of course the location is great and it is cheap. Would I live here again? If I were a broke college student and didn't want roommates, yes."

"It seems other people have had troubles with this office (with security deposits and such) I will say at least personally, I was treated fairly. I was able to get a large portion of my security deposit back (the charges incurred were fair and expected for the most part, though I will note that I did a very deep clean that left the place almost in better shape than when I came in some areas). The office always responded to my emails, calls, maintenance requests with no trouble, didn't charge me for rent when I moved out a month early, and never intruded on my apartment. I'm not sure I would necessarily choose to live in the place I stayed at again (bc of how old the apartment is), but that's just my personal preference and it's not like the apartment was misrepresented before signing my lease."

"Worst renting experience of all time. They nickel and dime you upon move out and make up bogus charges and find a way to charge over and above the deposit that you have paid. I got charged $450 and I left the apartment in the exact same condition that I got it in. They outright lie to your face when you try to challenge these charges. For example, I replaced all the used drip pans with brand new ones while moving out and they (untruthfully) claimed the sizes were wrong and charged for replacing them again?!?! They charged me for bath counter damage although I have before and after pictures to prove that there is literally 0 damage. The list goes on with random charges for replacing the chair, around a 100 bucks for caulking the bathtub (like caulk is literally 5 bucks at the store), etc. So basically just lies on top of lies. And obviously as a student, I do not have the resources to legally challenge them and hence have to resort to paying up. In my experience any other student housing in the area is far better than Crestview including even on campus housing. You will be treated badly and insulted by the management at Crestview, definitely STAY AWAY. Also beware they have duplicated their google business account maybe to cover up bad reviews."

"My daughter had a lease and when I asked them to explain how 9 months was a 10 months lease I could not get a straight answer. When I explained several times exactly how many days were in this time frame I was told “ I guess you are smarter than Google” because I asked for someone to explain the days and date of the lease my daughter was told because of my questions they did not feel she was a good fit to lease to….. only got deposit and last months rent paid already refunded…. Guess we were a good enough fit for them to keep the 70.00 in application fees they collected !!! Rude and unprofessional !!! Found a way better place and they were more than happy to explain their lease!! Later found out from someone else that stayed there they were treated horribly!!! I should have read the reviews before my daughter even got that far they speak for themselves.. HORRIBLE , I have filed with BBB. I am also letting everyone I can know so they avoid this mess!!!! By the way took deposit with electronic withdrawal same day took over 8 days to get the refund !!!! Really!!!"
