"The staff is very friendly and kind. I have nothing against the practice at all! However, if you have Addison’s Disease, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend. I was questioned whether or not I had AD my first visit (even though I have been treated for it and have had blood work consistently to check it over the last 7-8 years). Because of this, as well as not feeling properly cared for, especially with a rise in some alarming symptoms for over a year (extreme weight gain in a short period of time, hair loss, hot and flushed all the time, etc.), I chose to switch my endo. Turns out, the doctors at GN Endocrinology had me taking double the amount of hydrocortisone that is normal for someone of my condition. They even wanted to me up it again (even though I was about 7-8 months in with the too high dosage) and I said I’d prefer not to at the time. All of those symptoms I’ve been experiencing is because of my taking double the normal amount for someone of my condition. I was showing symptoms of someone who has Cushing’s Disease. My new endo was alarmed by how much I was taking and was also surprised that they were monitoring my condition by taking a cortisol test rather than a renin test and a BMP test. The cortisol test wouldn’t be accurate because my body doesn’t produce cortisol naturally. At one point I was even told by my doctors at GN Endocrinology to have a cortisol lab test done and to skip a dosage of my hydrocortisone. My new endo explained that this would show that my body has low cortisol (which makes sense because I don’t produce it). It does not accurately measure how I’m actually doing—it just simply sees how much cortisol is in my system at the time of my blood test (and because I skipped a hydrocortisone dose, it was low). Also, when I first started to gain weight pretty rapidly (with them knowing how well I eat and that I exercise 3-5 days a week), instead of being concerned, it was recommended that I eat less and exercise more. Since changing my dosing to almost half of what I was on, I’m slowly starting to feel better already (it’s been about a month). All in all, I just think my condition is a little out of their scope."

"I have to give a shout out to Liz at the Hobart location for not only being great with checking us in but helping me find a lost phone while waiting. Everyone was friendly and Dr. Massage took the time needed."

"Normally I have good experiences here, but today the front desk women named Veronica was extremely rude. She wasn’t just rude and snappy towards me, but others as well. This is the first time I’ve seen her here and I’m already not fond of her or her attitude at all. Usually the front desk staff is very kind, today I was taken aback by her attitude. If I keep having issues with her, I’ll just go else where because I don’t want to deal with her attitude problem and her snapping."
