"Worst bed I've ever slept on. The floor may have been more comfortable. Do not recommend for people with back problems. I had to cut my retreat short because of how bad the beds were. St Meinrad is a beautiful place. The retreat leader was nice, but didn't seem all that prepared or knowledgeable about the topic. I know it's not a hotel, but it's hard to get the most out of the visit without being able to get a good night's sleep. The food used to be better too. I was just disappointed all the way around for a retreat I had been looking forward to for 6 months and desperately needed."

"I was not an overnight customer but present for another event. The facility is very nice and accommodating. The standard food service is a bit challenging for those of us with food sensitivities and next time I will bring my own meal so I do not have to worry about that concern. The dining room was pleasant. Overall, it is a welcoming and pleasant environment; incredibly clean and tidy. The grounds are beautiful at this time of year."

"We so loved the retreat and the guest house accommodations! I had been down visiting before but my wife never had and she was as impressed as I was the first time I went there. Thank Brother Zachery for us please! I hope we can come down again soon!"

"Guesthouse great facility for our group. Plentiful food. Hospitable and courteous staff. Rooms very clean and adequate. Somewhat simple, but I didn't need to do much but sleep and shower in the room."

"I’m a composer, and my faith tradition is Episcopalian. When I need quiet time to work on a new piece, this is the place I come to. Easily half of my output is sacred or religiously-based, so I really appreciate being able to use their library as a resource. Absolutely, positively plan to attend one of the Daily Office services while you’re visiting. These are *beautiful*! (I was mistaken for one of the monks during a recent visit, since I’m very fluent in Latin, read chant fluently (I use chant regularly in my own compositions) and Episcopalians also have the Daily Office and our liturgies and chants are practically the same. I thought it was very cool that I “passed” for a monk!)"
