"The front desk lady this morning in cube 5 was super rude. If you work in customer service especially at a place like this, just be polite, it's 8:00a.m... and she's already on one. I didn't miss this place, at all this shall do for now though."

"I've never met people that use their title to dictate a family and children's lives , as much as this place. It's their way or no way. They don't have the best supervisors. They have zero cameras to support anything let alone to keep children safe. And constantly use their "power" to determine whether or not children should go to a family. They degrade you. Even in front of your children. And they are extremely unprofessional about it."

"If it wasn’t for Dr Hani Amhad, we probably would not come here. He is a SUPER AMAZING, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, TOP NOTCH doctor that I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND, however, Bowen Center has a lot to be desired. (…maybe I’m just spoiled…) If you happen to forget your child’s appointment note for school, they will not fax it to the school. You have to physically go back and get it. If you are late for your appointment by 5 minutes, you have missed your appointment and they will have to reschedule you (Most other facilities, give you a 10-15 minute window). If you have to get a message to the doctor or nurse, they will not call you back in a timely manner. You have to call them REPEATEDLY to find out their reply. This has absolutely nothing to do with the doctor or nurse answering you, however, there is a complete disconnect with the person who is supposed to be calling you back to tell you what the doctor or nurse said. (On multiple occasions I waited over a week and a half for a response only to be told that the doctor answered right away and noted it in the chart, but the person who was supposed to call and tell me what he said, never did.) During registration, questions are asked about parental drug/alcohol abuse, neglect, etc. however, I’ve told them multiple times that my child is adopted… They make no distinction between birth parents and adoptive parents, meaning we’ve been listed as addicts, etc (not his biological parents). I’ve been questioned many times about “my drug use” & why I am not seeking treatment. I could go on, but long story short there’s a major problem with the support staff &/or the way they are managed. Again, Dr. Ahmad & his nurses are AMAZING! Bowen Center is not."

"Let me start of with I’ve been going to both Bowen locations in Fort Wayne for a few months… this one is by far the worst .. you can never get anyone to call you back on phones , they don’t seem to take your health seriously and I feel some nurses don’t wanna do there jobs. My doctor I was seeing Sam I loved her so much but 3 -4 months ago she had a nurse who actually got fired because she made a rude comment to me about me needing to put a shirt on when I had a tank top on .. I guess others were complaining about her also so she wasn’t fired cause of what was said to me but because of a lot. Anyways Sam got new nurses who seemed nice to me at first but when it becomes an issue needing talked about on the phone these nurses don’t act how they did in person. I was having issues getting my meds refilled they told me they called me insurance and pharmacy in which they didn’t because my insurance and pharmacy can tell me that .. it was a big mess and then I told them I talked to a manager she got so upset at me for that but I was like my health is important so I gotta do what I gotta do I need my medicine. I even had a higher up nurse advice me to complain about the situation because she called my pharmacy herself and found out they never did and what we needed to fix this situation…I even tried to give them the benefit of doubt that maybe we were being told 2 different things by my insurance I truly was trying to be understanding this also was a process that took 2 weeks btw just to never get the meds…it was just sad I loved Sam and I always tried to look past these types of situations that happened but I can’t anymore it gives me anxiety and I deal with enough issues then to deal with people who are insensitive and seem annoyed to help. So I give 2 stars just due to the fact Sam truly was awesome but I think she was starting to think I was doing something wrong sadly in this last situation so I just felt to much anxiety to go back… but overall if you need med refills , need to speak to a nurse , wanna switch doctors , it’s just beyond difficult there. One other thing I always appreciated Sam was she always went above and beyond trying to help with these bad situations! She always seemed to care alot about me so I’ll give her that :)"
