"Stayed for the weekend to see family. I’m from this area but live in Fort Wayne. It’s in a very local part of Bedford so that is really convenient. Our room was super clean, organized and big. We were missing trash bags but that was an easy fix. They have a really nice breakfast too. Definitely a place we will be returning to if we come back down."

"Diamond member of 10 years. I’ve stayed here on many occasions in 2023 and have already stayed here 4 times this year. I use online check in and never have to worry about the front desk, although each time I’ve spoken to anyone at the front desk they have been super polite and friendly This past stay 1/12-14 did not meet my expectations at all. Must have just been an off weekend but needless to say I will mention what was wrong in hopes management will look into things a little better. Checked in late Fri, woke up to shower next morning and there was no body wash. I don’t know how these become empty when they are so large and easy to fill. I tend to keep it cold while sleeping, I turned on the heat that morning and I noticed it did not kick in. Room was 57° and the unit would not turn off at all. I headed to breakfast downstairs and set the temp to 78°. Left and forgot to mention it to front desk. Arrived again late Saturday night and the room was still 57°. It was 1am so I just went to sleep. The heat never kicked in. Sunday am I strolled down at 9:30 for breakfast and I noticed all hot food was empty,except biscuits and gravy. Tried to get some and it was not gravy but of a water like consistency, I mean if I would have put it on a plate it would have spilt all over. The day before the potatoes were not cooked, now I’m sure they just heat this stuff up, so maybe just too cold and not heated up long enough. I was shocked to see the hot bar not replenish at 9:30. Now I’ve bee staying here a year off an on as I said and this was the first weekend like this. Maybe they hired someone new in the kitchen, if so she needs a little more training on food prep. I’m sorry I did not get a video of the gravy but I was not wanting to embarrass the lady at all especially if she is new. I’ve not seen her but this weekend. I will be back at this hotel again at least till I make this town my new home and hopefully these minor things will be taken care of. Still give 5 stars here. This is a really great location for me and I’ve used many many points here for rooms and staff are always friendly and rooms over all are clean and comfortable."

"Very clean. The kids really enjoyed the pool though it is not very big and is pretty shallow with a max depth of 4 and a half feet. Room only had stand up shower and while it was very clean and spacious when I'm on vacation I like my baths so a tub would have been preferred. Staff is nice. Breakfast is pretty good with hot and cold Breakfast options."

"Silver Honors member, local healthcare worker, work nights, small town hotel. Made a two night reservation in order to be able to day sleep the one day. Hotel cancelled my reservation and then tried to charge me for the two nights instead of the typical one night for a cancellation. No response or help from staff. No notification of cancellation. Took me no less than an hour and multiple calls to customer service to get it resolved. As an aside, despite being a small town and local community hospital, the hotel offers no kind of arrangement or assistance in terms of accommodating the needs of customers, night workers in particular. No day hours and no significant early check-in, even if rooms are available. As a matter of fact, just an hour south of here, I had a similar situation a few weeks back. Arrived at the Hampton, didn't even have a reservation, it was about 7:30 a.m. I inquired as to whether there were rooms available and, if so, would check-in around 11a be possible. The manager on duty not only was exceedingly pleasant, he went absolutely out of his way to accommodate, he allowed check-in right then at 7:30 at no additional fee, made sure to get a top floor room, and instructed housekeeping to be quiet in that area. On top of that, he applied a local discount for healthcare workers even though I technically wasn't working that facility. Now that is service, that is what one would expect in a partnership with local businesses, that is the culture one would expect in a small town, that is the professionalism and attitude one would hope for and they went above and beyond, no questions asked. Between the screw-up on my reservation, the attempt at double charging, the complete lack of response and effort on the part of staff and management, the complete brick wall in terms of working with local hospital employees, the poor customer service, and the inordinate time it took to correct over-billing, this is a one-and-done for me. Other local hotels and most Airbnbs have been much more responsive and customer oriented. I will stick with those other options in the future, but given my incredibly stellar experience recently at the Corydon Hampton Inn, I had high hopes. This one ended up being the complete other end of the spectrum."

"We stayed at this hotel and had an amazing time! The staff is extremely nice and bend over backwards for the guests. The room was very clean and was very nice. The breakfast they had was also very good. The hotel is very clean and excellent place to stay at."
