"Absolutely love this place! While I can't speak for the entire forest all the parts I have visited have been great. It's a great place to take the kids and just get out into God's wonderful creation! Get out there and explore!"

"My little girl loved our trip to the fire tower at Hoosier National forest, the weather was wonderful, the scenery beautiful and the other natu goers were as friendly as one could hope for. The trip up the tower however is a workout and can be a bit intimidating for a first timer but well worth the effort in the end."

"It is easily the most beautiful part of Indiana. There are so many opportunities for camping, hiking, backpacking, etc."

"For the most part I enjoyed my stay. I was at Indian-Celina Lakes in the south slope campground. It was very quiet and peaceful. Campsites are nice but the asphalt pavement is choppy and needs replacing. My site 23 was very unlevel and the was a pretty steep slope at the beginning of the driveway. This would probably be a great site for someone tent camping. The shower rooms were very nice! Water was good and hot. There are 3 threaded water spigots and others that are not threaded. There is a dumpster on site"

"It's an absolutely gorgeous place to go for a hike, see wildlife, go kayaking or fishing if it suits you. I will recommend packing extra water if you intend to hike as it can be more of a task than you'd initially expect but the hike is one of the most scenic in the entire state and worth the trek."
