Walmart Pharmacy

"Walmart pharmacy on Lorna rd is so/so. One day you might get a super nice person the next day you might get a really grumpy person. I had a stroke at 42 years old. I am now 50 so I I take multiple prescriptions. One is my blood thinner which is very important and I must take it every single day or I could die - literally. I have been taking this medication for eight years and using the Walmart Pharmacy for about six years. several months ago I quit my job to renovate my home and was without Health Insurance for a small period of time. The Eliquis( blood thinner) is $500 a month without insurance or $50 a month with Health Insurance which is crazy because it’s something that I must take to stay alive . The pharmacist know me at Walmart . They know I’m not a drug seeker that I’m merely just taking a blood thinner and a blood pressure and fluid pills etc.. I needed a few days of my blood thinner until I could get to the doctor to get my prescription renewed but they refused. I asked them what I was supposed to do ?? just die? Their response was I don’t know what to tell you . How can someone be a pharmacist and not help someone out who just needs a blood thinner? What is this world coming to? I use the Walmart Pharmacy because it is close to my home and it has a drive-through which is next to a Zaxby’s . This aspect isn’t bad when you’re hungry and need your pills . ha ha ha I’m sure there are lots of other pharmacies around town that I could switch to And yes, this is my fault that I keep returning to the same place but old habits die hard! It’s up to you if you use Walmart for groceries and RXs or you go somewhere else like Publix which is 10 times as much!!"

"I went here to transfer money into my cash app account at the money center, it was my first time doing it at a walmart and I was a little naive on the subject. The lady stationed at this money center was extremely unprofessional and had attitude with me when I simply asked her to explain some things for me. Eventually I gave up asking and tried to move on with the transaction before she told me I couldn’t even transfer the money into my cash app there. While I wasn’t upset I was confused to the reason why this was happening. When I tried to ask her the reason why the answer was “you just can’t” in an exasperated tone, as if answering my simple question was the worst thing for her. I will not be attempting to come back to this neighborhood Walmart for anything money related. As a person with social anxiety it would have been nice to have been treated with respect and kindness during this process."

"The employees at this location are great! This store is always busy but they do their best to restock things all the time. My only complaint would be that customers are ALWAYS parked all down the firelane and it can be difficult to get in and out of the store."
