"Amazing spot to live, management is absolutely amazing and very attentive to anything and everything. Would recommend 10 out of 10. *****Slight update- after reading numerous reviews, some of these folks are just unhappy. I’m glad management is addressing the feeding of the stray cats. STOP FEEDING THE CATS. Update on our original review- Things started off great but we are slowly on the decline. Can’t get the roach problem to go away. Office told us we would have a credit on our rent for not being able to shower in our unit for a week, nothing. Management is now charging the guy feeding the cats so he can continue but no adjustment in rent for the new “amenity” at our building. Tasha and India are still amazing but they are held at the threshold of the manager only being able to make a call on anything. We had such high hopes when moved in, now we are just counting our months left till move out."

"Run, don’t walk away from this place. Inconsiderate, rude, conniving management. Amenities get closed at a moments notice or “new” restrictive policies get put in place prohibiting you from using them. The methods in which you can pay rent change. There is a $2000 penalty and a two months notice required to get out of your lease, so $4000 minimum!! Regardless if it’s your first or second lease. There are simply too many bad things to say about this place to put it into one review. It seems like enough apartments must become vacant before they will even consider to change their ways. You are not a person to them, you are simply revenue as soon as you sign your lease. 0/5, but google doesn’t accept 0 stars. Save yourself the aggravation and wasted money. Do not come to Lenox Gates."

"My boyfriend and I have been a resident for little over six months now. My move in process was horrible. There is so any unexcepted fees and your bill is never consistent. I honestly believe that the management team should send out a survey to its residents because I know so many people who currently live here are unhappy. If they cared about their residents then they would do it and then correct the issues that so many residents are having. I will be so happy when my lease is up because no one in the management team is listening to anyone. Its the residents that are spending over 1200 a month just for their concerns not not being heard, valued, or taken seriously. Lets face it, the property has never been clean, you never see any landscaping people cleaning anywhere besides the front office. The trash compactor consistently gets jammed, and when you unable to open it and leave your trash they hit you with a $150 fee. When you address them with your concerns they have the nerve to get smart with you. We went the entire summer with no pool until finally in August they open it and then literally a month in they closed it. We have one property manager trying to manage two properties. everything here is unstruchted and disorganized. Whatever Lenox Gates used to be it is not anymore and doesn't seem to want to be GREAT. If you are looking for a place to live, I would highly consider looking else where. There is not many payment options here either. I am honestly looking a Windsor Place as my new home because at least they offer their residents the option to break their payment into two, like many of the other complex within Mobile; having a payment called Flex. Lenox Gates is behind, older, and honestly never cared about their residents. They don't want to modern so therefore they will always be behind. If only I know then what I know now, I would have never moved here to begin with. You have been warned."

"If I could give this place NEGATIVE stars I would. The managing staff that took over this complex in 2021 is the worst I have ever been apart of. Extremely rude, unprofessional, will lie to your face and do something different as soon as you leave. ZERO communication if you have issues with the apartment. But will send emails and text messages every week about absolutely nothing. From them complaining about residents leaving trash by the BROKEN trash compactor to complaining about residents feeding stray cats, and wanting to fine us for each. Yet when my air conditioning unit went out in July of 2023 it took them 3 weeks to finally replace it. They never communicated when they were coming ( just more stray cat emails ). And when they fixed it they left trash in my apartment that I had to clean. I had an issue where my toilet continued to run and would not stop. Managements great solutions, "just turn it off until we get around to fixing it" SERIOUSLY. I'm paying over $1,000 a month in rent and the water bill and you want me to turn the water off when not in use. How about you all come out and fix your old toilet. Even during their inspections, I came home and they left my door OPEN. Not locked just OPEN. I have a animal and expensive electronics in my apartment and all I got was a "MY BAD". I finally had enough and after 10 years in this place I broke my lease 3 months before renewal just so I didn't have to deal the incompetent , rude, unprofessional staff at Lenox Gates Apartments. And do not expect your security deposit back, they tack on so many fees and add other fees that it will eat up your deposit. CMP Properties needs to really look at whom they are hiring because this staff and this company is just like the emails and texts the residents get all the time about nothing....TRASH. Stay very clear of this place, there is a reason why the rating is so low. I personal know 15 residents who are looking for places to go. 1 of which just moved in 3 months ago and already is unsatisfied with the staff. Buy a house or find another apartment complex because Lenox Gates is NOT it."

"All I can say is this place sucks. All of the 5 star reviews you see are from a promotion Lenox gates was running for a year of free rent. Don’t trust any of them. Management changed 3 times in the year we lived there. Maintenance took MONTHS to fix anything. Our bill continuously got higher and more charges added to it every single month we lived there. These people are more worried about buying out all of the other apartments in mobile rather than making sure their residents enjoy living there. If I had to say anything about living here, it’s save your money and find somewhere else."
