"Still having trouble getting maintenance. SPM raises rent ($95 a month this year) but is slow to do maintenance. My bathtub cold water faucet has been leaking at full blast for at least two months. I have reported the need for maintenance three times and not had any luck. This makes it hard for me to take showers and impossible to take baths. I'm sure this leak costs SPM or whoever pays for such things a lot of money, because it wastes a lot of water, and I only pay a fixed fee for water and sewer. So in dollars and cents it would make sense for them to do it. I saw a review recently that said they were having problems because they had "restructured." Maybe they should have a moratorium on rent increases. Just like they don't have enough people to maintain their properties physically, they probably don't have enough to handle all the extra money, either. (I am half joking there.)"

"Decent apartments for the price and area. However, getting in touch with the office staff is very hard. More often than not, nobody answers, and when they do, it seems to be someone at a satellite office with no answers. I have been told many times that my requests would be marked as "high priority", and that someone would call me back, but usually I have to follow-up myself, or never receive a callback. The communication we do receive as residents is confusing, so just be aware."

"I moved here in June. When I moved in, there was no kitchen light fixture, but a hole in the ceiling with exposed wires hanging out. I was told that maintenance would come by the next day to install the fixture. It is now October, and after multiple calls and emails, nothing has been done to fix this. I had to get a third party involved who fixed this issue for me, since the staff at The Murals would do nothing about it. I find it highly unreasonable that it has been close to 4 months, and nothing was done to fix this. I would be more understanding if it was a minor issue, but exposed wires is a serious fire hazard."

"Danielle , who is the property manager, is awesome! She is by far one of the most professional people I’ve ever dealt with! I am a current resident of 3 years now, and she really is very good at working with you through any situation. Covid, as we all know, was extremely hard , and she has been by my side through it all! Since day one of being a resident, she has been superb and very very thoughtful! I would recommend anyone to stay here bc they respond swiftly with any issues you may have !! 5 stars across the board !!!"

"They will change the price of your lease without notice after you apply for an apartment! Would not offer a refund for my $200 application claiming they reserved the right to change the price of apartments without notice. Very dishonest."
