"I took my car to Gerber Westfield as they are a preferred vendor of the insurance company of the person at fault in my accident. It's now January 6th, they've had my car with relatively minor damage since before Thanksgiving. When I dropped my car off in November, I was told repairs should take about a week or so. I was given regular updates on the progress for the first coupe weeks. Now, the only way I can get an update (if update is really what you want to call it) is if I call them. And, even then, it's simply a series of excuses followed by, "your car should be ready in another week" and further sweet talk about how, this time, we really do mean it....and that they "appreciate all of my patience", which has now run out. The simple fact of the matter is, excuses aside, I can't see where they've made any real progress since their first delay many weeks ago. They are a collision repair business but they seem to get easily stumped on how to find parts for my 2014 Lexus....or how to properly paint it...or where to find a new employee to fix my car after having to fire the last one (just to share 3 of the excuses they've given me). I'll consider updating my review once I receive my car back. Overall, they seem like nice people who are in well over their head."

"Brought my car in for a cracked bumper. The work looks fantastic. I wish there had been better communication throughout the process. I showed up to pick up my rental as agreed, only to be turned away (twice!) because it wasn't ready, a courtesy call letting me know they didn't have a car would have prevented me from missing so much work. I was not called when they said they would and had to continually call for updates."

"After two weeks of delays beyond the original installation date, Gerber finally replaced the windshield on my Mini Cooper. The installer broke the pillar trim on the drivers side, broke the clips on the gutter gaskets, and left the top gasket loose and misaligned. I called Gerber the next day. The agent took my information and told me that I would receive a callback. Two days later, I've yet to hear from anyone at Gerber. Take my advice and buy your windshield from a professional organization that stands by its work. Stay away from Gerber."

"They did a great job on the repairs after I was in an accident. Kept me up to date on their progress. They even cleaned the inside of my car. It looks brand new."
