"I had my first appointment at Glow lounge with Megan Thursday before Christmas. The appointment went well, although the face massage itself was disappointing, Megan seemed knowledgeable. She also assured me I could reach out and she wanted me to keep in touch with any questions. The next day I woke with swollen lips- and the swelling came back every day for 5 days. My lips hurt, they were cracked and bleeding from the swelling. When I reached out via email to ask what she put on my lips she said no one had that happen before and it was a moisturizer from her line. She wouldn’t give me the product info or ingredients until I reached out again almost a week later. She said she had been on vacation and gave me the ingredient info. She still wouldn’t give me the name of the product she used, and there was never a phone number given so I could reach her directly. After a google search of the ingredients I found the product. It’s the Glymed ultra hydrating lip balm that is know to plump lips!!! For a five star rated establishment, and the cost of this facial the lack of transparency or communication is disappointing. My lips still aren’t healed! Ignoring my emails when I am having a reaction/ known effect from the product put on my face is neither professional nor responsible. I will not be trusting Megan with my face again."
