"DO NOT STAY HERE. I used to stay at the hotel a while back during my monthly trips to Birmingham. The other Hilton I wanted was booked, so I ended up here. There is no hot water in the hotel. I moved rooms on my first night of three. The third night I had to move again. And that room had no hot water. This is ridiculous. Customer service is not up to par….People pretend like they are doing something but after three calls to the front desk, water is still ice cold."

"On 1/18/2024 a firearm was stolen from my vehicle which was parked via Valet in addition to coins and an empty eyeglass case. I filed a police report and a claim with the hotel. The hotel did not offer an apology or a follow-up call. I was told I would receive a call from parking management. I did not receive a call, inquiry, or an apology from anyone. The police officer who took the report was the only person who followed up with me. I had to call the hotel to speak with a member of management and request an apology in addition to asking if any progress had been made. (1/19/2024). As a Diamond member, this was the worst treatment and show of disrespect I have ever experienced at a Hilton property in over 22 years. If you decide to stay at this location, please secure all of your valuables and DO NOT TRUST THE VALET STAFF. For some strange reason, the hotel staff acts as if the valet service has nothing to do with the hotel guests."

"I really like the Curio collection and look for opportunities to check them out. This one unfortunately is not up to the standard. The decor is very nice and bedding is Hilton quality but the towels are ready to head to the garage to become rags. The television in my room must have been 10 years old at least and dimming out, the grout in the shower was just short of unacceptable. It can happen anywhere but the noisy exercise session on the floor above mine went on way too long after 10 PM. My favorite part of the Curios is the breakfast and unfortunately it was the low point of this stay. I watched several people walk away due to the slow service. Not the waitresses fault as she was working hard but had been left alone. Kudos to the young lady for maintaining a great attitude while being stuck in a horrible set of circumstances. The meal could have saved the day, but no, it too was barely acceptable. There is a lot of potential here but I won't be back unless I hear there has been a significant change."

"The room was beautiful, minus not having a refrigerator. The property is elegant and the bartending staff was fantastic. The valet, on the other hand, was an entirely different experience. When I arrived, the valet (and the sign posted in the lobby) explicitly stated that valet services began at 6:30 AM. Here it is, 7:07 AM. I requested my vehicle 37 minutes ago and the valets still haven’t even arrived to work. Great hotel, mostly. Don’t use the valet to park your vehicle."
