I advise all parents, if your child needs help in Reading, Mathematics or Preparations for Standardized Testing, bring your child to Sylvan Learning Center, “They Tutor It Until You Learn It”."

"The Trussville location has been not great to deal with. They are still asking children wear face masks and it’s currently 7/8/23. Hospitals don’t even require masks anymore… Our daughter has been coming for tutoring since January and they still say her name wrong every time she’s here even though we’ve corrected them for months. I’ve given up at this point because we only have a few sessions left. The tutoring sessions rarely start on time so be prepared to wait when you get there and wait longer for the session to end. We expected our daughter to be much further along based on our first initial meeting we had with Sylvan when we prepaid for her tutoring hours. We were told from the very beginning that there would never be more than 4 children to a tutor/table. That’s not true. They seem to overbook their tutors on the weekdays. I will never recommend this tutoring company to anyone based off of our experience. Do your best to find a personal tutor for your child before giving Sylvan a chance."
