Pioneer Playschool

"Pioneer is a blessing to our family. During Covid, my husband and I had to go back to work when schools were only allowing students to attend every other day. We were scrambling for childcare. I called Pioneer, and Stephanie the owner found a spot for my oldest son and my younger son. We we were so fortunate they could go there together. My boys tell me they love Pioneer. They enjoy the field trips on the days schools are closed. They ask to attend Pioneer in the summer instead of doing summer camps. We have had a great experience."

"My experience with Pioneer began as one of their part-time bus drivers in 2012, after the untimely death of Stephanie’s brother Jim, when she had to arise to the occasion of helping her father Tom (the founder with his wife Pat), until his death in 2014. A lot was thrust at Stephanie in a short time, and she met the challenge! I started driving full time in 2017. I always praised Stephanie on her ability to pick fine young people as my aids on the bus, yes, with an occasional bad apple, (but whose services were halted as abruptly and legally as possible). The inside/outside aids were great with the kids, got along with each other and with the parents as well. Of course COVID came along and set everything back. Pioneer was closed from mid-March till May of 2020, and that’s when I started working there full time. I was 73 then, and Stephanie ALWAYS found me a place to work, and I will always be grateful to her for that! A problem never went unaddressed and resolved by Stephanie, and she loves the children amazingly. AND the kids love her. I have moved recently to Ohio, to be closer to family, so no longer work at Pioneer, or with Stephanie. But I consider it one of my fondest and most loving places of employment! "My son has gone here since he was 3 and absolutely loves it! The staff genuinely care and are like family to us. We have met so many good people and made life long friends. They teach so much and when my son started kindergarten he was already way advanced and has excelled because of this school. As a single mother it's reasonably priced and I just cannot say enough good things."
