"Got there a bit after 3pm. Cold food, chicken was cold greasy, okra was barley cooked and cold, ham was burnt, steak was dry, hardly anything on the salad bar, salad dressing tasted spoiled. The food was horrible."
"I Will Choose Golden Corral Over Shoney's Every Time. There's More of A Selection. Plenty of Workers, Actually Working. I Go There For An Egg White Omelet. Which Is Hard To Find In Other Restaurants. It's Never A Disappointment! It's Worth The Trip, & Tip! Sure, I Can Make It At Home Myself. But, I Treat Myself Sometimes! I Always Eat Breakfast, & Carry Out My Omelet (Extra Fee)."
"Fat people shoveling food without care. Everything tasted the same. Sausage, gravy,coffee, potatoes. Mainly prepared stuff like schools and prisons serve. Also, not inexpensive...I went with my grandson in the interest of food being ready and not putting a 6 year old through a wait. Jack's or Hardee's would have been better."
"So we went to eat and paid at 2:11 on Sunday. I was charged the dinner price even though dinner doesn’t start until 4. This happened to other people as well. The food was bland and barely any options unless you like everything fried/overcooked. Sitting down we could see into the kitchen area where there was food all over the floor and employees with gloves touching every door. When we were seated the food on the floor was nasty, I understand it’s a buffet but please work on cleanliness. I was sick right after we left. We will not be returning"
"Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a variety of food choices. The staff was pleasant and they worked hard to make sure everyone had what they wanted. It was a packed house and it was fast pace to the buffet and back to the table. We never felt like there wasn’t something to be found and the portions were a good size. The fried chicken I had was juicy with a light seasoning nothing over powering. All and all we left full. Not someplace I would eat at every day, but a nice occasional treat."
