"I had to stay here 3 times just out of convenience of location. After the 2nd time of being seriously let down I shouldn’t have came back but I did . Mistake . First the Indian lady at the front has no idea what she is doing and it’s at least a 30 minute check in process that’s very annoying. I thought it was her first day…… no. Said she had been there a while . Then everytime there was broken things in the room. Lights wouldn’t work around the sink . So couldn’t even see to style my hair , no hair dryer , barely any towels , once there was not even a mini fridge . Some of the plug outlets did not work , worst of all was my last stay where the air conditioner did not work and checking out and getting a refund was NOT an option according to front desk. So I was stuck and they wouldn’t even change my room. Suggested I open the balcony door …. It’s February..but I ended up having to. The tv never worked in any room . Couldn’t connect to any streaming , wouldn’t connect to my phone through my USB and other devices. So it’s just a blank screen . 2nd time there was moths all in the room which was weird. No soaps or anything , it’s clean. I do give it that . But I shouldn’t have went back, that’s on me , but it’s so conveniently located. There’s shady stuff going on there tho . Met a man in the elevator who had been living there a month and he only paid in cash . Breakfast is made the night before so it’s stale in the morning. It could really be an amazing hotel if they just maintained the place and learned customer service."

"Staff was pleasant, but the room was a disaster. It was not clean and there are odd stains all over the place. Also to top that off there were beetles crawling around inside the drapes. I have slept in the woods that were cleaner and more sanitary than this room, and for less money. I was booked to stay 3 nights, but checked out after the first night and went somewhere else. Definitely need to get a booster shot after just spending 6hrs there."

"Pro: Well priced for a one night stay. Clean rooms, linens, great pillows. Windows do open slightly for fresh air. Con: The air is permitted with incense. We are asthmatic- so our breathing has been effected. We kept window cracked open. Con: this establishment is like a ghost hotel stuck in the middle of Covid outbreak. My husband & I were only guests SEEM I'm a 40 hour period. 2 maids, & 2 front desk clerks. Nobody else. Parking was empty. It's a shame. Location is perfect for Birmingham. Hotel is in great shape. But it just feels like it's in a perpetual lock down. Site said food served. They said chef was out sick. Seems he/she has been gone for a very long time. Coffee, tea, & water only. Con: No breakfast. Pro: you can buy snacks on side kiosk. Con: Nothing fresh. Owners of chain need to visit their locations. I have a feeling this location has been franchised out- so owners can cut corners on pleasantries of travel & staying at hotels. If the bar, beverage & breakfast were offered- I'd offer higher score. This location needs to shake off Pandemic Vibes. Even the cheapest locations offer wrapped muffins & fresh fruit. Not here. I'd actually pay more if some hot breakfast were offered. Sad to say, but come here if you only want to sleep & leave quickly."

"The room was nice, need was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The shower head in our handicap accessible room did not fit and continuously fell... Hitting us in the head w few times. The coffee ordered was undrinkable... No creamer available "we are out". Despite the website comments, there was no on site dining either. Very disappointed and expensive as we had to go to Starbucks.."

"Great rooms. The staff were so helpful and accommodating and helped with some laundry issues I was having. I would absolutely recommend this place to any friends or colleagues traveling. The rooms were clean and the entire hotel staff were constantly sanitizing surfaces while I stayed. The lobby was clean and it was reassuring seeing the sanitization process for room keys. I will definitely be back."
