"I applied for an apartment at Candence buff. I was given the run around. Because of an error on application. The manger pretends he is gonna fix it and call us he did not. We went there several times. The we were told the apartment was not ready and application could not be fix. So finally we asked for the admin fee back because it was supposed to be waived. They made us pay anyway. Long story short I would like my 150.00 back. Or I will have to take legal action. The manger told lots of lies never return phone calls like he says. He also refused to give out corporate number or email. Also the main reason for our withdraw is the amount of people that had complaints that fill the office daily. No lies it was about 7 people daily with complaints about floods and no heat. Stay away from these apartments!"

"I have been living here since July of last year and this has been the worst experience of my life! Nothing has been repaired because they don’t have any maintenance. We were without heat for 2 months in Nov/Dec., corporate themselves came down and told residents we would have discounted rent in January and has not held up on their end. It’s all a lie and scam. Don’t let the “specials” fool you. They will NEVER answer the phone. YOUR ISSUES WILL NEVER BE RESOLVED. Bunch of liars, scammers, and unprofessional staff. Oh and they call the police when you come confront them on everything. Don’t waste your time, money and most of all sanity. Sweating bullets until my lease up. NEGATIVE STARS! I’ll be back with pictures!"

"I’m a current resident of almost 2 years - DO NOT MOVE HERE. Any good reviews they have are of people touring - obviously they’re going to be nice when giving a tour, but that helpfulness ends real quick once you move in. First of all, there is absolutely no way to contact the leasing office if you have any issue at all. They will not answer emails or phones calls, and you will never get a call back. If they do answer, they will tell you they’ll look into it and call you back, which they then never do. There is only a tiny chance that a worker may actually be at the leasing office during their business hours. There are also the same kind of issues you get at any cheap apartment complex - leaks, water damage broken appliances, people breaking into cars, etc. Don’t expect maintenance to do a thing. Once I had a terrible leak on a Sunday - water everywhere. I left messages on the emergency line (since no one answers the phones in this godforsaken place). No call back, and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone there on the next day (Monday) either. I had to pay out of pocket for someone to come fix it. I would strongly urge everyone to look elsewhere if you’re looking for an apartment. I have lived in “worse” complexes with lower ratings, but at least at those complexes there were actually people at the leasing office you could talk to."

"I wish I could give zero stars. This place is horrible from my first week here my vehicle was broken into. The corporate office stated that my safety was not their concern. My apartment has mold, I am constantly over charged on my water bill every single month. I am the only person in my apartment and my water bill ranges from $85-100 and they purchase water from a third party company and the tenants are over charged purposely. My ceiling is caving in from the holding water from my leaking pipes. This is the worst place I’ve ever lived. We have no maintenance man DO NOT move here unless you want to give your money away."

"Please read all reviews before moving here! I have been a resident at Cadence for a few months and I am counting down the days to leave. This is my first apartment and I expected the process to go a little smoother. The staff sells you false narratives about how they care, however they take no initiative to ensure you receive the services that you pay your hard earned money for. I currently have service requests that have been sitting in the queue for about 6 months now. My apartment was not move-in ready when I got here and it still is not. My bathroom is literally falling apart and I have no access to my incoming mail here at the complex. All of these issues were expressed months ago with no follow-up or conversation about a timeline to correct anything. If you are comfortable with mediocrity and just need a place, then you will be fine here. Great location, however, it is not worth the stress and neglect you receive! Yes, the apartments are undergoing renovation which I am sure will improve the quality of the complex. However, that does not equate to providing piss poor service to your current tenants and using the renovations as an excuse."
