"Food was average. I really felt like I could have made better seasoned food at my house. Service was decent at best. She was nice but had no personality and did not really engage with us very well. We needed refills for some time before that was addressed.Honestly felt like she could have used some basic training on how to be a server. Just not very engaging and didnt really communicate. The atmosphere was nice and for the most part clean. We always look for little local places when we choose to circulate our money and we were hopeful but disappointed. Maybe it was a one off experiment for us but I know we won't be going back there."

"The sushi here is better than the sushi in Bloomington! Our sushi came on a really cute boat too. It tasted very fresh and very very good. Love this place and would recommend to anyone! The Spicy Girl Roll was my fav."

"This was my 1st time visiting the new Yamato's in Bedford. The decor was nice, updated, with comfortable chairs. The service was incredible! Very knowledgeable about the menu and extremely friendly. We asked about a menu item going to another table, after we had ordered, and they actually delivered us one on the house. It is an item that wasn't on the menu yet and they were trying it out. They had made one for social media photos, but weren't going to eat it- so we benefitted! It is a jalapeno popper appetizer (the last 2 photos). It was 3 large breaded jalapenos filled with cream cheese and tuna and deep fried. YUMMY! The 3rd photo were the appetizers we ordered- fried dumplings (great with their sauce) and lobster Rangoon (also great- although I couldn't try that sauce due to the sugar content). The 1st 2 pics are different shots of the Yamato Sushi Rolls. I can see why they are a house speciality. You won't be disappointed!"

"My husband and I stopped in here after checking out Spring Mill State Park. We both ordered the Kani salad which was very tasty. I had the hibachi vegetables and those are really delicious and also we had a few sushi rolls, the green dragon and the dynamite roll. All very tasty and very nicely presented. We did only receive one platter of the sushi rolls and one dipping tray for soy sauce between the two of us. And no plates aside from that, which was just a tiny bit strange. However, the entire experience was very. Food came quickly and the waitress was nice enough. Looks like a friendly place with lots of parking outside. We would definitely go there again. Cheers!."

"Absolutely fantastic, food presentation Was excellent, had a smoken hot waitress, to boot, was very impressed. I hope they expand the menu, all round experience was a 10/10. I spent $60+ on sushi , but you can still enjoy this place at a very reasonable price for a meal."
