"I don't usually write reviews, but for this place, I must. We are here in Indiana for my brother's funeral and to bring his ashes home back to New Jersey. After all the ceremony was over, we found this place close to our hotel to have dinner with all 8 of us. The food and atmosphere were warm and inviting, and the aroma of the meats smoking in the back just took over and made us all even more hungry. The food was amazing, but what was more amazing was the people who worked there. At the end of our dinner, the pastor from our funeral was there eating too and saw us and gave us some kind words after he was leaving. We get ready to pay and then someone had paid for our bill and that just made all of us especially my mom start crying and so happy and feeling so blessed. But what happened next was more amazing every staff member in the restaurant came over to our table and began to pray for all of us and put all there hands on my mother and just prayed even other people there that was eating too began to pray as well they are all praying for the lose of a loving son brother and father Adam Howard. I couldn't believe the love and support those people in that restaurant showed us. That was a true blessing from God and from my brother who is now in heaven. I just want to thank everyone in that restaurant so very much you have touched my and my family's heart and we are forever grateful. If we are ever back up this way again we will definitely come back to this restaurant for the food and for the love and support from these absolutely beautiful people. "Had high hopes after seeing reviews, brisket and ribs were overcooked, I had the sampler platter at $29 very small portions. No butter for the potato. Meat was barely warm, well below average for a place that specializes in bbq. Up charges for several items. Two stars is generous for the visit we had."

"I have driven past here too many times. What a great place. Country feel. Pleasant staff and the brisket sandwich was tasty. Not on overly juicy brisket. Just right. The beans are also very good. I often don't like beans at BBQ places, because they tend to try to hard or add too much vinegar. These were tasty. Well worth the stop."
