"I would never recommend this place. I live two minutes from this rec center and they claim I'm not a Hoover resident. They won't let me into their facility even though I can walk there from my apartment. Its disappointing that their employees only see what's on their computer system instead of listening and using common sense. The manager wouldn't even speak to me. Very sad because I enjoy working out."
"Really love the sense of community here - both from the members and the staff. Speaking of, a shout-out to Samuel (front desk) and Mitch (pool). They do their job well and are genuinely good guys. Both care about you not just as a member but as a person. I consider them (and am thankful that they are) both my friends. Love to come here and swim laps regularly. The HRC is awesome!"
