"This papa johns has very hard working staff who are under paid! I visited this location on Halloween to get a jack o lantern pizza for my kids and when I arrived it was a mad house inside everyone busting butt working fast making pizzas. The lobby was full the customers were getting rude the screens were beyond full Everytime the workers printed out a page of tickets another page was ready to go. The manger kept apologizing to the rude customers who couldn't clearly see and understand they staff was already working as hard and fast as they could with a full oven and full racks of pizzas to place in already. My wait time was only 35 minutes even with all this going on. So way to go papa johns of lake station. 5 starts for sure! Oh and the pizza looked and tasted great"
"I placed an order at 5:11PM at this store (#1135) for two large 2 topping pizzas using one of their coupons online via the Papa John’s app. I pressed the “pay and order food now” button and got an error message stating that my order could not be placed and to try again later. I received an email from my bank stating I successfully paid for food in the amount of $35.72 from Papa John’s and it cleared my account. I called the store and explained that I never received a confirmation email nor have a confirmation in the app but was charged for the food. They were all VERY rude and told me that without a confirmation number I will not get my food..I expressed that was why I was calling..because I never received one but still want my food if I paid for it. The manager in the background was relaying her words to me through a worker and was very angry. I ended up just hanging up and reporting them to my bank. They need to fix this and hire better staff! No one deserves to be treated this way when it’s their mistake and not the customers. Don’t order from here. They are bad business and people."
