The Mandwella Effect:

"I went to the store closest to my house in hopes the customer service has changed for the better. Boy was I so wrong! The new guy was trying his best to understand why the system was adding a dollar instead of taking it away when it came to the Marlboro digital coupon. He called Julie the manager over for help. This is the same manger who has given me multiple problems over the past few years. At first she apologized for the system not working properly and then all hell broke loose. She had the nerve to place blame on me which doesn’t even make any sense at all. How am I in control of your computer system? I was not only refused service, but my slurpee was snatched out of my hand before I could even pay for it. On top of that, this manager went the distance to humiliate me, make fun of me, and borderline verbally abuse me in front of several other customers. She even cackled in my face and said "go ahead and call the district manager, it's not like she did anything to me the first time". This is absolutely disgusting, deplorable, and shameful behavior being displayed by management nonetheless. I’m so glad to know this is how you treat disabled people. I will make it my mission to picket on the public sidewalk to warn other customers of how they truly don’t give a rats behind about customer service. This is a day in age where boycotting is a must to ensure billion dollar corporations start understanding, listening, and paying for the way they treat the consumer. I will also be contacting an attorney and making sure this store pays for all the ADA violations I have been taking pictures and videos evidence of over the last year. I am done being treated like I don’t matter and that I am just another dollar sign to you. I can clearly see the owner values money over morals and could care less how this manager treats the customer, let alone the employees. Needless to say, the turnover rate at this store is unbelievably sickening! You can absolutely thank Julie for that single handedly. Furthermore, if you want to be treated with respect, dignity, and enjoy phenomenal customer service…head down the road to the AB Market at 4568 Howe Rd. They are family owned, have lots of items to offer, and have way better prices than this problematic place. Update - 7/31/23 I went back to speak with the owner only to be met with the worst behavior/attitude and she even used vulgarities towards me in front of customers. She said “you are a pain in the @ss” followed by “you have no f-ing life and to get a job”. The discrimination here is REAL. Hopefully corporate along with the district manager will pull this owners license. Second Update - 8-23-23 My fiancé, his teenage son, and myself were slapped with no trespassing notice all because we wanted to get some slurpees on a super hot day. I also have a video recording of the owner trying to physically attack a disabled individual (which was myself) and making fun of me for being physically challenged. "The So called Manager heavyset ,older Woman at the register with Red hair is literally the rudest person I've ever came across in my entire life.I asked her for the fresher taquitos because the last time i came they were hard and i asked how long have they been there and she said since last week but not in a funny joking way.I have been there multiple times because I work near by .I always come in with a smile on my face and polite.Every single word that comes out of her mouth is with an attitude and an eye roll. They have to be able to find someone better who actually wants to be there and will enjoy their job.No more business from me in this location of 7-11.Im totally good."

"Would not recommend going to this location the Indian guy at the register with a rag on his head was very rude and lied about everything. Not to mention the store is dirty and there were fruit flies on the donuts in the case. 7-11 corporation really needs to clean this place up. I will not be returning to this location. The location 2 minutes down the road is much cleaner and the employees are great to the customers."

"New cashier cashed me out and I'm standing waiting for all the drinks and snacks to be put in a bag. I had to ask for the items to be placed in a bag. New girl focusing on a side note conversation between employee & manager instead of wrapping up my transaction. The manager comes up and reply she is new (3rd day) and getting loud. I replied, on the first day of work bagging items is fundamentals "teach her teach her customer service"!!!"
