"I have driven by here several times and wondered how it was. So I stopped in and had Sunday lunch on my way home from work. First off, service was good. I have no issues with my server. Apologize I can't remember his name. Drink and chips came out quickly. And order was taken promptly and food came out quickly and hot and just as ordered. I got the carnitas plate being as that generally tells me if most other things will be good. And while it was good, I have no complaints. It was just average. This is a common simple dish that should be easy to make, but when made right, is absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, I just thought it was average. My problem is I grew up in the southwest so I know what true Latin food CAN be!!! I am running into a recurring theme with the restaurants in the east and that is mediocrity! It's not just this restaurant. It's most restaurants in the east. You just seem to accept whatever they put in front of you and call it the "best ever"!! I have realized those words don't mean anything out here. I DO recommend the restaurant. I WILL try it again! I just have to continue to lower my standards when it comes to restaurants on the eastern half of the United States. Food was good (average) service was very good and I do recommend for a good reasonable meal!"

"This is my other favorite Mexican place in town. They have some unique dishes that I absolutely love. My go to item is the quesadilla express. A decent portion and full of flavor. I also love getting their chicarones as an appetizer. They are fresh, hot pork rinds. It is hard to find them still crackling from the fryer. A first for me at a Mexican restaurant, but I’m certainly not complaining. For an extra large appetite, try the Mexico City burrito. It is huge and delicious. The place is small and can get crowded, but I have never had to wait for a seat. Come check it out."

"We were hesitant to go in here but only because it always looked empty. Empty restaurants mean bad food. We were so wrong. Santiago was thee best server we have had in a very long time. We were seated immediately. Chips and salsa were brought just as our seats settled in our seats. Immediately following that was Santiago. He took our drink orders, which came out very quickly. My husband had the Chili Colorado and I had the Mexican pizza. Both were spot on. We ordered beans and tortillas to go and the yummiest fried ice cream. Oh, the place was full!!! There's only ever a few cars because it isn't that big in there. Highly recommend you all stop in here."

"Waiter was very nice, I knew the food would be good when the chips and salsa were good. He was very attentive and nice bringing us unlimited chips and salsa upon request also. We also got our own salsa cups so we didn't have to share which was great. Salsa could have been a little spicier but my kids were with me so we all had the mild one. Bathroom and restaurant looked and smelled clean. Tables and chairs were packed in making it a little tight in there. Meat was a bit dry but otherwise everything had a good flavor even the rice was good which I've had unseasoned many times other places. Ice water was good and didn't taste and smell like nasty city water like you get many times in restaurants. I can't remember what they called them but I got their special beans that had sausage, bacon and more in them, very good! Would go back again if I lived closer."
