Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

"Out of burgers, ranch, French fries, sugar, sweet tea, lemonade, spoons. Kayla was very nice and apologetic, Ordered a moose cheese steak w onion rings. Pretty decent, prob would have been better w the ranch dressing. Onion rings were very greasy and soggy. Probably out of oil to change fryers, wife had tater tots and they looked over cooked and greasy also. Service was good considering only had a server and cook working. First time visiting, but this must be the standard cuz only 4 tables at lunch on a Saturday. We live across the river so probably won't make a trip back just to come here"

"It asked me about my experience, unfortunately when we visited they still were having computer issues and they were out of two menu items we intended to order. The experience here is also different from other Andy's or hwy 55's it's not the 1950's soda shop experience. The food is still good but unfortunately it did not provide the Andy's experience I hoped to revisit from my other experiences. The facility is immaculate and well taken care of yet both times I have visited I got the feeling that it will not stay in business long because something atmospheric is missing. Perhaps if I didn't have expectations of it being more like an Andy's experience it would have hit the mark, the grill isn't even in customer view, that's one of the things I so enjoyed being able to chat with whoever was working the grill. The wait staff was super friendly and did well. Sadly I was shortly dismayed that the wait staff was the same person working the grill and food prep. I fully understand businesses need to be effective and keep employment costs low and honestly the customer count does not warrant hiring more staff. That said without a proper manager managing, wait staff waiting and ringing out customers and food prep staff prepping, and chefs cheffing the customer count will get even smaller because they see the missing pieces of expected operation. The cheese steaks are still highly recommended and deserve their own review aside from the locations experience. For those wanting to know. Out of chili for the fries and out of brownies for the brownie sundae. I fully believe once they have the computer system fixed this will be corrected and there will not be menu items shortages."

"When they first opened, we came a few times hoping they would get better, but no luck. However, after recently hearing that they were under new management, we decided to give it another go. It was a complete 180. The food was great and the service was even better. The restaurant was clean and very nice. Great come back for this place. We will definitely be back."

"Went there quite a few weeks ago not long after they opened and left incredibly disappointed. They were obviously short staffed, which can only translate to their need to raise their starting wage so they can get more workers. All that money to build a new restaurant and its sad corporate can't compete with local wages. I watched them lose 10+ customers in the 1 hour it took for someone to even come to my table to take our order. When the food finally came out, it was brown and hard. I don't know if it was old oil or just overcooked. I am so grateful we weren't trapped in the drive thru. We will not be back. The poor waitress handled the high pressure amazingly but she could only do so much. Two people in the entire restaurant during a Sunday after-church rush is not good. This review is not a result of poor service by the employees, but poor organization and planning with corporate profits holding them back."
