"This is by far the worst pharmacy experience I have ever encountered. On 2 separate occasions I was shafted from retrieving prescriptions my family & I needed. The second time it was my daughter’s medication that is covered 100% by our insurance carrier & the pharmacy tech (which was the same lady that dismayed me the first time) said the prescription was $900! I asked if she was sure she ran the insurance properly & she clicked a few keys & said it was $600. I had my entire families prescriptions transferred to Meijer. Two days later I was able to get my daughter prescription from Meijer for the $0 copay we were accustomed to, but not before she missed 2 days of school suffering from withdrawals. The sad part is, even the Meijer pharmacy had issues getting my prescriptions as they are notorious for leaving them on hold for HOURS. I am disgusted by the customer service & will not be stepping foot at Walgreens again. I was going to go back & get her name, but terrible service starts at the top so I feel it would be pointless drama. The biggest bummer is that it is conveniently located across the street from our house so quick trips to pickup necessities will become a longer chore. Sickening."
