"This is the worst apartment complex i have ever dealt with. On move out we have been charged fees that were never disclosed upon signing. We provided our new address email, and phone numbers and not once did they notify us about theirs hidden fees. Stay away for the leasing team they have empty promises just to satisfy their commission."

"Village Green of Rochester has been nothing but great to us so far. My girlfriend and I were in search for an apartment and we kind of fell in love with this place right away. Lauren and Ceci took us on our first tour and were very helpful in answering our questions. Our initial apartment style was taken as we applied but Ceci assisted on helping us find another style that we liked even more. We just signed our lease and we are excited to move in. The staff is EXCELLENT here in the way they run their tours, social media, and overall office (as it seems)."

"Initial review on the 27th December: I lived at the Village Green of Rochester for five years and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, the apartment was spacious, the location was convenient, and the staff was friendly. On the negative side, the heat in my apartment smelled strongly of burned plastic and chemicals for a few months. It was very unpleasant and unhealthy. I complained to the management several times, but they did not fix it. If it wasn't for the fire department, who helped me “convince” the management, I would have probably been left with that smell. The pool was also quite dirty. It had debris, leaves, and insects floating on the surface. I did not feel comfortable swimming there. Overall, I think the Village Green of Rochester has potential, but it needs to improve its maintenance and cleanliness. Edit on the 28th December: This experience was in winter 2017/18 when there was still a mostly different team. I don’t want this to be wrongly associated with the current team."

"This property is one of the best locations in Rochester. The main road leads you directly into the heart of downtown where you'll find amazing restaurants and shops! The Clinton River bike/walk path can be accessed directly across the street. The property itself is older but nearly all units have been updated with granite counters and newer fixtures so it definitely feels modern. Due to its age you can be rest assured you'll never hear your neighbors above or to the side, it's very quiet. The maintenance team is very knowledgeable and requests are addressed almost immediately the same day. The clubhouse has a lot more to offer than most complexes in the area and is open 24 hours. The staff is very friendly and attentive to all your needs which is great, it's important to have a good management team. For the most part, it's an excellent choice!! UPDATE: I wanted to move back after being gone one year. They rejected me, after I had a rough spell with a 3 month work furlough it hurt my credit. I will find someplace else, but I want everyone to know what they did to me. The agent met me on a Saturday to see a unit and she had no voice. I said 'are you sick?' and she emphatically denied it, saying her Doctor told her it was allergies, but she was very sick. I was stuck with my visit and spent time with her. Two days later I had a high fever and in bed for 5 days, it moved into my lungs and I couldn't breath and lost my voice. I am still off work now after 6 days and tested positive for Covid! That crazy loser gave me Covid!! No Doctor would ever tell you a lost voice was allergies!! She lied to me, the public, and endangered my life! Now they won't even return emails or my $150 hold money, they asked for $225 to do an application! I have been home alone for a month working remote and she is the only person I was around. She belongs in jail or fired. I will avoid this company in the future because my credit will be repaired and this is a big company but I'll do my best to never lease from these creeps ever again! Beware of their ethics because that transcends into how they run everything. Everyone who worked there when I lived there is gone! Ignore my previous review! They have black mold in building 19."

"Not luxury AT ALL. Will get better bang for your buck at newer communities with nicer upgrades—- Trio, Legacy, Redwood. Place was dirty and needs major updates—-20 year property is not well maintained and management says they have no control because its “corporate” owned."
