"Beware, there are some shady leasing agents. There's only one person on the up and up in that place. Maintenance doesn't do the proper job when called. I wish the head office show up unannounced and investigate all activity both finances and employees. Something needs to be done."

"Damn damn damn so I went to pick up my friend here the other day and maytbe it was from the holidays but every single dumpster had stuff thrown all around it. I felt bad for the maintenance workers that were probably going to have to pick it up. However it's a surprise mystery who would have done this but there is this sign posted in the ground at a dumpster of the 10 commandments. So as dirty as it may be I love that someone did that. I'm not sure if they need reminded of the commandments but they mean well. Thanks. Thou shall not thrash the place. Amen"

"Usually I don’t write bad reviews, but , everything that you see about this place in the review section is true. Sometimes people can exaggerate a bit , so I ignored them when moving in but please don’t ignore. I will tell you the good and bad about this place so it’ll be up to you if you decide to move here . The Good : -They work with pretty much any credit score ✅ -I have stayed here for 2 years , and there have been no break ins , in my home , or with my car ✅ -This place is good if you have nowhere else to go , once approved they move you in fairly quickly ✅ - All the kids in the neighborhood leaves their bike everywhere safely (which is a good indicator, because in some neighborhoods the bikes would be stolen) The Bad : - It’s true , the maintenance is horrible . They can’t schedule appointments , they can only give you time frames as to when they will arrive, which are very vague . ( the last time they told me that the wait would be 1-3 weeks for a repair) and that if I missed them that I would be pushed further back onto the list and that I would be waiting more than 3 weeks . Which is kind of impossible when you go to work everyday, no time to sit at home waiting for maintenance for weeks on end , because bills do not stop) Also, maintenance is very limited, if it’s not a simple repair , then it’s beyond them , and you’ll have to wait even longer while they get outside 3rd party help. Surprise ! Or not , maintenance never came . And I know this because I have a fully functional camera and no one ever approached my door while I wasn’t home . (Glad I didn’t call off of work to sit and wait ) by the 3rd time that I called up to the office about the same problem I gave up. I was told that they already came out the from the first time that I called , and that I’d have to wait over a month , I waited a month , then I called back because they were still no shows , they gave me the same story. So I eventually left it alone because it was clear that they were playing games , being that no one ever appeared on my camera to fix the repairs . - It’s true ! 90% of the units do experience leaks due to them being older outdated units, so boom with moisture and leakage for so long , mold does occur. -They do quick patch up jobs to move you end but it never lasts in the long run (The only thing that saved me is that my fiancé is a carpenter, so he was able to repair anything in our unit when needed with money spent out of our own pocket, we’ve replaced a few pipes , the kitchen faucet , and a bad paint job ourselves ) glass half full . - It’s true , they sold me on it being a pool here , but it hasn’t been open for the 2 years that I’ve been here . Sorry not sure if they’ll ever open it -It’s true the play ground only has one of those old metal slides that i grew up playing on. ( which were actually dangerous for us growing up , and I really don’t think it’s suitable for the babies in todays world) -When moving in I would told that at lease renewal there would only be a 50$ increase. The first year there was a 50$ increase, the 2nd year they increased it 100$ I moved in at $1350 per month and we are moving out paying $1500 per month (these places aren’t worth more than 1,000$ honestly) - Also we had to purchase a P.O. Box for packages to be delivered at a nearby post office . ( My packages had been stolen off of my porch 3 times) - They will keep your security deposit - In a lot of cases they will try to charge you for extra months of rent after you move out (so just make sure you stay on top of your move , sometimes showing up professionally in person is better than trying to get through on the phone ) if you do not stand up for yourself you will be ran over. - The walls are thin and they play louder than loud music in the parking lot , and another dog was off leash and tried to attack my dog while we were going for a walk In conclusion, would I do it again ? No If you need a quick semi-safe place to stay temporarily & you have minimum expectations, then this is your place. If not , run !"

"My name is Corie King, and I am writing to inform of a troubling matter that has been occurring at my complex. I reside at Heritage Glen Apartments in Taylor, MI and after a hot water tank replacement maintenance failed to remove the old tank for over a month now. Today 12/11/2023 I injured my foot on that tank and contacted the front office, which I have done numerous times about the same matter, to which I was told yet again they would come remove it. I called at 5:13pm to ask again if they were coming and was told maintenance left at 5:00pm. I responded by telling them the item will now be placed outside as my home is not a storage and I shouldn’t have to deal with being injured by an item that should not be there to begin with. I have 3 young children and this item is a hazard waiting to happen. I was told I would be fined for placing the tank outside, which I disagree because it is not my property and I have tried to resolve this numerous times."
