"Most unprofessional people I've ever met. Where to start? Our move in was delayed by two weeks because they didn't have our unit ready, causing my family and I to have to shell out money for a motel for those two weeks. They didn't inform us that it wouldn't be ready ahead of time, instead letting us show up with all of our things on the move in date so that the maintenance crew could inform us that we couldn't move in. After that we discovered the upstairs bathroom had no cold water, it smelled like a gas leak was coming from the stove, and our bedroom door was not installed properly, so it doesn't latch shut. Several attempts were made to reach out to the office manager about this, to no response, so we gave up on having those items fixed. Then, in June of 2018 our A/C broke, and as I write this review four months later, it is STILL BROKEN. It was "repaired" once, and I can only assume this was a half-assed repair, due to the fact that it broke again a week later. Instead of purchasing a new part, they continued to try these bandaid fixes. That is, when we could get a hold of anybody at all. Multiple times we made it very clear that this was extremely hazardous to our daughter's health -- that we weren't even able to COOK in our apartment because it was far too hot. There have been many days and nights where we have had to stay with relatives because it was so hot. I have been bounced around between at least four different people trying to get this situation handled, and nobody can be bothered to even give me a call back with an update. There was one offer to provide us with a portable unit, which was then taken back after the first time they "fixed" the A/C, and then not offered again until we requested it. Finally we learned that, since it is now "out of season" they had decided to NOT fix our A/C at all, despite the fact that we have still been experiencing over 80 degree days. Even worse, upon making this decision, it took us confronting them once again for them to even TELL us that they'd made this decision. It was only upon us insisting that they fix it -- because even though it may be out of season now, it WAS NOT three months ago -- that they finally agreed to fix it. To top it all off, our furnace is now broken as well, and I have little hope that they will handle this situation any more professionally. I would rather live under a bridge than at Canton Gardens for any longer than I have to. Oh, and they also have no emergency number for maintenance staff if you have an emergency in the dead of night, so there's that too."

"The shower has been leaking for two years resulting in a hole in my kitchen ceiling. The toilet in the half bath is loose from the floor. So you cant use it or it floods the floor. The kitchen faucet broke. The A/C started making crackling and popping sounds at 5am then a burning smell came from the vents. Ran to turn it off called the office still no response. One time they said their key wasnt working. Came home to a door all scratched because maintenance guy tried to break open the door. Funny thing is they could have just called me. The fans dont work in the main bathroom so it has a real mold problem and the door hinges are so rusted its hard to close the door. I cant use two of the outlets in the kitchen because the circuit blew and instead of fixing it. They just closed it off. I'm hoping this is just my unit but still I can't recommend this place. Update 9/01/2017 I have been moved to another unit that is in far better condition. It has updated flooring and two working restrooms. No disqusting hole in the kitchen and my appliances are now functioning( had a problem with the oven that has been resolved). Its not perfect. The shower doesnt always get above warmish, but that is most likely do to the old plumbing. The A/C is loud but its also older. All in all a huge improvement."

"Moved in with no heat. Should have known then we would have problems with repairs. Carpet had no padding so nails poked through. They would sometimes fix items but mostly empty promises. The city came in a few times and had a list of repairs required, never happened. Such a shame too because with proper upkeep these would be really nice townhouses."

"This place does not care about anything. During the summer, our A/C was broken, it took them over a month and six different times to "fix" it. The sixth time, they finally fixed it. During the winter, the townhouses are baking on the second floor and freezing on the first floor. Our dishwasher broke down and they didn't replace or try to fix it for a month. Our A/C was leaking a substance, probabky water, and one of our lights fell down. They didn't fix it untill theew weeks later. ALL of our windows leak. We have told them multiple times a month since we've moved it, and they have done nothing. Our stove/oven was broken and they didn't fix/replace for two months. The best part is that they tried to nail us for a late fee, even though we were paying on time. The wonderful letter gave us a week to do something about the late fee, but it was dated two weeks prior. However, the envelope that the letter was in was date stamped by the post office, four days prior to us receiving it. So we were good on that end. The manager here, Chris, does not care about his job at all."
