Uptown in Canton

"Please do not fall for the charm of the city and area. There are plenty of other apartment complexes you can choose from. This place is AWFUL. My family and I moved here from out of state and wanted a family friendly apartment and area. We love canton and wanted an apartment that felt safe and comfortable for our younger daughter. We have had countless issues arise and had to involve maintenance, our apartment flooded while we were gone, but the walls are super thin. We understand there will be noise living in an apartment, but our neighbors brought in a bass system and played their movies extremely loud. It affected our daughter’s sleeping and eventually health due to lack of consistent sleep. Mentally it’s been exhausting. We have brought up the issue to management several times and NOTHING has been done. Please take yourself and family and go elsewhere. FOLLOW UP: months later. My problem still has not been fixed or addressed and I have reached out multiple times. The residents below us have a surround sound system and it shakes the apartment. We have a 1 year old… no help from anyone on addressing this."

I would definitely recommend this property if you're looking for a cute contemporary space in Canton. These were far better than other properties I toured in the area. "As someone who has lived here for over 2 years, I've had a very positive experience. In the last year or so, new staff like Raquel have made management especially responsive, with maintenance requests, changes to the lease, etc. going super smoothly. It's a big complex so some complications can arise but as long as you keep in contact with the onsite staff issues can generally be resolved within days."

"I didn't know how to express my frustration. We had a bad experience in the application process, but it was not the worst. We moved into the unit and found so many things broken(the broken spy hole allows you to stretch your finger out through the opening, leaking A/C, broken cabinet, closet, and shower door). Can the leasing offing check out the property before renting it? We asked them to fix some items before we moved in, but they only set what they called the most emergent one, the leaking a/c. God, everything is emergent for us, and we don’t know how long it will take to restore all items! They told us to request maintenance on their website, but every request is automatically set as "non-emergent." Besides, the balcony light and the air conditioner were kept on before we moved in, wasting electricity! ★Aug 2 Official Move-in day and found many problems ★Aug 3 Report problems through phone calls ★Aug 4 We moved in and found only the A/C was restored. We went to the office to complain about those problems, and they told us the door hole problem would first be solved. We reported issues again through the maintenance system. ★Aug 7 Nobody came to fix anything in our unit. The requests in maintenance are canceled. In the end, my husband went to the office again and yelled at them. They seem to forget everything. After that, they started to work instantly. All issues are solved the next morning. The maintenance personnel was helpful and promptly addressed all the issues. In contrast, some ladies in the office are lazy and arrogant. They ought to allocate a portion of their wages to the diligent maintenance staff."
