"This hotel is terrible!! Coming in the hotel I had to wait for the front desk to finish smoking before helping me which was the first problem. Going to my room I noticed how dark and outdated the hotel was and dirty the elevator was I didn’t even want to touch the button. After finally getting into my room it was so gross. The linen had stains all over, it was super dusty, bathroom looked as if it was quickly and inaccurately cleaned. Carpet was disgusting and not vacuumed. Turned my feet black! Throughout my time being there I heard so many disgusting and unprofessional things coming from employees being loud in the hallways and back offices, you can hear them all the way in the lobby. I even saw one of the housekeepers who seemed to be important walking around in sweatpants! Like seriously? Can’t even wear a decent uniform? You can’t tell if people are guests or employees here walking around in sweatpants!? Housekeepers talking about bed bugs in the rooms! Disgusting! So much profanity and unprofessional behavior from everyone here! After seeing the disgusting behavior and disgusting unkept rooms I will never stay here again. Not including the cold hearted behavior from the manager there! She does not care about your problems and will not give you any empathy if she even gives you the time of day. I will never come back here again and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! So disgusting that this place is even in business with how unprofessional and disgusting this place is! Someone needs to be called to shut this disgusting building down."

"I only really review places if it's a bad or good experience and I have to say this is a fantastic 3 star hotel. Room and breakfast are delightfully as expected for this price point. The best part is the staff. I lost an important personal item and they were able to return it to me in under 24 hours of me misplacing it. Thanks again to the staff and I'm happy to add this place to my rotation of hotels as I pass through greater Detroit. You should too."

"During my recent stay at the Comfort Suites on Haggerty Road in Canton, I noticed a blend of pros and cons. The hotel's location is convenient, nestled between Detroit and Ann Arbor, and offers amenities like free Wi-Fi, parking, and an indoor pool. However, the hotel shows signs of wear and could use some updates. The rooms, equipped with basic kitchenette facilities and air conditioning, were comfortable. Yet, it's clear that the hotel's maintenance isn't top-notch. Some areas, like the elevator, felt outdated and slightly neglected. The cleanliness was inconsistent; while some areas were well-kept, others, like carpets and public spaces, could have been cleaner. The staff's service was a mixed experience. Some were helpful, but others seemed less engaged. The breakfast varied in quality, and some maintenance were noted. In conclusion, while the Comfort Suites in Canton offers the basics at a reasonable price and a great location, it falls short in terms of upkeep and consistent service quality."

"Stay elsewhere - Room door didn't close and latch easily, and I think our room was not secured one day because of that. - There was no sofa in our room. One wing backed chair for us to share. - There was no housekeeping service, no removal of garbage, no fresh towels, not enough soap to last a three night stay. - Housekeeping staff didn't speak English, so we had difficulty requesting supplies. - The hair drier didn't work. - The fireplace didn't heat, and was loud. - There was hardly any food available for breakfast on the first day."

"It was a worst experience ever. I booked the hotel for three nights. There was no hot water in shower or sink. Rooms were stinky and carpets were dirty. Electricity went out the evening of the very first day. There was no breakfast in the morning because there was no electricity. I booked another Comfort Suites near Airport the very next morning and cancelled the next two days with them and gave the room keys back. Hotel management still charged for the three nights on my credit card. The hotel manager was never available whenever I called. I also opened a case with Choice Hotels Group Guest Services but no resolution."
