"They make it difficult to tour the apartments unless you are off mid-week. BEWARE !! The apartments you see on the website are not the apartments they are renting. The apartments they have available are old 1980's cave type apartments with limited windows and dingy carpeting. They are quick to demand a $500 deposit or what they call a "holding fee" until you sign a lease and if you don't like what you see when you finally are able to view a "sample" apartment then the "holding fee" is not returnable!!!! Don't fall for the scam!!! Also beware of hidden cost that hey bill for each month with no set limit. Fees billed separately include water, sewer, gas and then you have to have a set a separate electric bill. No limit on what they charge monthly on top of rent. Great apartment if you're transitioning from a homeless shelter but otherwise keep looking."

"Don't be fooled by the photos. Apartments aren't renovated between tenants, when I moved in, walls had stains on them, oven wasn't cleaned, tub wasn't re-glazed, cracks everywhere. While living there, I've had the worst maintenance experience and the office manager doesn't care to take care of any complaints you may have. Maintenance comes in unannounced and goes in without permission. Just an all around bad experience with this this property and its management team. No corporate information to put in a complaint with ivanhoe. I do not recommend."

"I recently moved into Windsor Woods Apartments and it has been a great experience so far. Prior to moving in I had been approved to 2 other complexes both in Novi. With 1 day to decide out of the blue I stopped by Windsor Woods just to see if there were any openings. Kathy the manager welcomed me in and it just so happened a cancellation had just occurred. The following day the 1 Novi complex made me an offer which included free rent for over a month plus a washer dryer would be included if I signed a 1 year lease. After a lot of contemplation I returned to Windsor Woods spent a good hour and Kathy patiently reviewed details of the open unit and answered all questions. She was thorough professional and made me feel welcome. Upon moving in Kathy had maintenance install a shower light immediately. At the previous complex I lived at I placed a work order on 4-15-19 for a simple repair and on move out day 9-15-19 the repair had not been completed nor any follow up by their maintenance. Happy to be at Windsor woods great location and quiet. Great to know Kathy is always there in the office to accommodate for whatever reason! Charles"

"visited my friends recently, since i used to live there. this building must be brought down. reoccurring washing machine problems, stagnant water in swimming pool bath, wash area is like a swimming pool. ZERO Maintenance. Am helping my friend to move out from here. I liked this place which was once a haven. Not a live able place anymore"
