Willow Glen Apartments

"Don’t ever rent from this Slum Lord. They don’t have but one maintenance man, to do anything, the places are rotting away, they want to charge all this rent for nothing, their very money hungry, do not care for the welfare of others. This man will come to your home and harass you for rent knocking at your door. He is very unprofessional including his so called leasing agents. These apartments were a different name before being called Willow Glen to cover up his unprofessionalism and how he is doing families wrong over in Willow Glen. This landlord needs to be stopped and ran out of Romulus, MI altogether. This is the real meaning of a Slum Lord. There was 3 fires in one complex unit to the point that people could of die because of the lady downstairs had oxygen tanks and if it wasn’t for neighbors getting the elderly woman out she would have been gone including another home being on fired and no fire alarms going off in the apartment building, his apartments are not up to code do not and I mean do not rent from this man. Every basement door is locked so if there is a problem with electricity when DTE comes out they cannot get in the basement to turn anything on because he stopping them from being able to go in the basement which mean that you may not have service until the next day.Let alone hot water. Again a Slum Lord."

"This apartment complex is in a terrible condition. The parking lot is raggedy and have many large holes... It is NOT a good environment to raise children. There is no play area for children to play safe. There is no working Air conditioner or working door bell. There is wild life of trees, brushes overrun the whole complex. These apartments haven't any new renovations in years. This complex is NOT handicap approved. .The evergreen is nothing but weeds and no grass. There is no where to barbecue on the ground and enjoy the holiday. There is no picnic area. There is no playing area for children. There is NO porch to sit out for the summer breeze."

"This place is not good at all I had a friend who has bed bugs and the owner said that they had a to fix it they call and call people to fix but keep getting the same answer because it can spread though other people apt and it is so wrong I feel bad for other people who going to catch it."

"So far so good... Other than consistently hearing kids all night which would be at any apartment I have no complaints it's a cheaper apartment it's safe it's clean I know I have not seen any bugs because I would leave if I saw a bug"

"Maintenance is slow and NEVER clean up after themselves. My 2 year old picked up 3 long screws that was laying on the floor in front of my apartment door. They were very rusty and sharp I was not happy. They don't communicate with each other when certain projects are to be done at the Romulus property. Therefore I was waken up by loud hammering and electric drills being forced into my floor. I haven't been able to use the laundry room in the basement and I've been living here for 4 years. Nevertheless, I continue to live here but I wont be slient about the unprofessional conduct at the Romulus location. This issue needs to be taken care of better than just a phone call."
