"We have lived here since 2019, rent was $1009 and now it close to $1400. Majority of the people who live here are trashy and treat the property as such. Management has changed several times since 2019. The newest office staff have been wonderful, maintenance has improved immensely!! They have quite the battle with old buildings and current residents. Dirty common areas, smell of weed plus anything your neighbor is cooking hit you right when you walk in the hallways. We love the floorplans, and there are a few decent families who we hope never get ran off as good neighbors. Unfortunately the area is trashy, the schools are overwhelmed, and the price has increased with each lease renewal. We will not be resigning and will pay for a smaller apartment in a nicer area."

"I'm not happy with living at Candlewyck Apartments. I've lived there now for 3 years and currently looking to move once my lease is up. They charge too much for rent and none of the amenities work or available. They allow children in the workout room which has resulted in workout equipment not working or damaged. They don't open the pool until end of summer or when no one knows about it. I have to go to a laundry mat to wash clothes because all washer and dryers (on all 3 floors) either don't work or need repair. Closet doors in unit are always falling off hinge. Toilet and sink have problems working at least every other month. They complain about tenants picking up trash on the property but trash cans on property stay full whereas no one can throw away trash. Door on back entrance of apartment remains without a lock. So anybody can enter the building. Living there for convenience but would not recommend anyone else to live there. Especially for how much they charge for rent. Candlewyck charges too much for rent to not have amenities working, unit problems, and property issues. Office staff are nice people. Maintenance is helpful but neither of those correlate to a place I'd recommend."

"I love my two bedroom apartment, wonderful view from the second story. The staff are just as friendly and welcoming. I’ve had maintenance staff enter my apartment and they did a fabulous job. Only complaint are the irresponsible dog owners not picking up after their dogs or them just being off leash running up to other people thankfully I’ve never been attacked but it’s still not safe having a random dog run up to you and the owner just yelling at the dog not doing anything."

"When we first came to the apartment, they took a security deposit and they said that they will fix all the things that needs to be fixed. Once we get to the apartment later on when I tried to move, first of all they had late payments on my profile and when I talked to them they said it was a mistake. And they said there's no way to fix it. And they had trouble getting into another house. And in addition to that, when I tried to move out, they charged me to pay for the fixing the apartment. And basically most of the things they were supposed to do it every time you call, they don't have a staff to do the work. One time. I had an emergency and the water was leaking and they never fixed it until like three days. I wouldn't recommend this apartment. It has a problem every day. You hear a gunshot every single day and it's not safe to be there. And when you go report or they say there is nothing we can do they say they have a gym they have a pool and those stuff and they basically have the pool close for like the last four years and they never open this. They're just making excuses. Every time you go to the office and you try to negotiate something or request for staff to fix something or ask why I have this bill or something. They're just like, it is what it is. They don't give you any clarification. They don't show you any statements. They just asked for money. And they don't they're not doing their job correctly."

"We need to make sure there are more lights for the dark around the parking lots and mainly mail boxes!!! The Mail lady had to use her phone just to see what she is doing. I got permission to take her picture. I also wish my children can lock up their bikes at the park and play but there is no bike racks at the park only in front of the buildings either way they get stolen."
