"They have delivered several of my appliance to me and they have been incredible. The dispatchers that call are professional and helpful. The driver that delivers in our area has been helpful and the most polite guy. I am sorry I did not catch his name."

"I do like ABF however the Grand Rapids Terminal is terrible. Customer service is awful and "John" the manager has a million reasons as to why they cannot follow suite with ABFs other terminals. Ask for a 1 hr call ahead to ensure someone is there for the delivery and the drivers think its funny to pull up and then send the texts or dont call at all. Most drivers are arrogant and uncarring from that terminal and one can only assume that comes from the top. From not sticking to delivery times, call aheads to dropping a pallet in front of the buisness door and driving away. This has been going on for YEARS and I have had enough. There are many choices of carriers in the GR area, choose wisely."

"Package was delivered a week late. It was a scheduled delivery we had to sign for and unload. We had the day set up and were told we would receive one hour notice of the delivery. My husband rushed home from work when we received our hour notice. An hour and a half into waiting for him to show up we called and they said he left a specific location 15min ago and was headed straight to us. It should have taken 20-30min max for him to get to us from that location. Over 2 hours later we are still waiting and called again and we’re told HE WENT ON LUNCH! Meanwhile my husband’s work is calling wondering where he’s at because this was supposed to take an hour max! Extremely rude. Not prompt. Also liars. Still currently waiting on our package once he’s done on lunch. Fingers crossed it’s not damaged and that it actually arrives!"

"I live in Downtown Grand Rapids so it can be difficult for freight companies to do deliveries, however ABF handled the situation perfectly. From the person I spoke to on the phone at dispatch, to the guy driving the truck doing the delivery, the whole experience was a breath of fresh air. Both were extremely courteous and helpful to my situation. I would highly recommend ABF freight to anyone based on my experience."

"First experience with a freight company and it was fabulous, I had ordered a treadmill, received the confirmation and a couple of days later got a call to set up a delivery time when it arrived the following week. I missed the call and called back a few hours later, the gentlemen that answered the phone attempted to transfer me to the lady who had called and the line was busy. He then asked me to bear with him as he attempted (and succeeded I might add) to set up my delivery. Today was the day of the delivery, the gentlemen who delivered the treadmill was courteous and professional. He parked on the street (sorry dude) and wheeled the box all the way to the front door. All around a job well done, thanks."
