FedEx Drop Box

The FedEx Drop Box located at U.S. 131 in Petoskey, Michigan, offers convenient 24/7 drop-off for FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, and FedEx SmartPost prelabeled shipments. You can choose from 1-, 2-, or 3-day shipping with FedEx Express, or opt for FedEx Ground for shipments to arrive in 1-5 business days. The drop boxes accept a variety of packages, including FedEx Express envelopes and boxes, as well as packages with your own FedEx label.

Package sizes up to 20" x 12" x 6" are accepted at the drop box location, and drop-off times may vary depending on the specific site. Many drop boxes now offer extended drop-off times, and Saturday pickup is available at select locations. To use the drop box, create a shipping label online or fill out an airbill with your FedEx account number, then print and affix the label to your package before dropping it off. Please note that cash, check, or credit card payments are not accepted at the drop box.

In addition to the drop box services, FedEx also has nationwide FedEx Office locations that offer packing and shipping services, as well as FedEx Ship Centers with late hours and cutoff times. Some FedEx locations can also ship hazardous goods. You can use FedEx packaging or your own with a FedEx shipping label, but packages should not be left outside the drop box. For packages too large for the drop box, bring them to the counter at a nearby FedEx location, such as FedEx Office, FedEx Ship Center, FedEx Authorized ShipCenter, Walgreens, Dollar General, or grocery stores across the country.
