"New Carpeting - 2018 I needed new carpeting in the upstairs of my home. I live in Troy, Michigan and decided that I wanted to support a local company. I chose United Flooring Center at 3806 Rochester Road. I have lived here for over 40 years and every time I have gone down Rochester Road I noticed this Flooring Store. When I entered the store I was immediately and warmly greeted by the store owner Debbie. She spent a lot of time Educating me, was NOT pressuring and did not rush me. I met her husband Dan and he had the same comforting character. The day the installers (Donnie and Jordan) came: They were punctual, polite and Hard Workers. They moved the furniture, removed the old carpet (cut it, taped the rolls so that the City would pick it up the next day). They were constantly explaining to me what they were doing as they started a new step of the installation. When they were finished they asked me if the furniture was put back correctly and if I was happy. They were EXTREMELY Professional, cleaned up wonderfully and kept reassuring me that after they left that I should feel free to call if I had any questions or requests and that they wanted me to be Happy. As they were walking out they asked an unexpected and touching question; “IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE WE CAN DO TO MAKE YOU HAPPY” ?? I would HIGHLY recommend United Center Flooring to Everyone. "If you do not mind your carpet smelling like it was sitting in car with people smoking. Also, if you don't mind being bait and switched, buy carpet from here. They lack customer service and have no interest in making the problem right."
