I was surprised when I was trying to replace the hose in my kitchen faucet that I couldn't find locally anywhere and went in there to get help making one. I was informed I could not duplicate that one but they had a new one in stock and the price was a few dollars less than online too!!"
"One of their plumbers(Dave), showed up on time. He then proceeded to unravel the bag of snakes that was there from the previous homeowner. When he was done; where once there a sloppy burned mess, was now almost a piece of jewelry! On top of all that, he cleaned up after himself! Years ago, I had rental houses; & after dealing with most of the tradesmen back then, the one that showed up today was in rarified air! He restored my faith in finding good help, & in mankind. "(Updated 11/23/2023) I have my water heater replaced by the Trevarrow Plumbing. I had hired it for a couple of projects in the past. The price was competitive and the technician was capable and courteous. I would hire it again in the future. (Original in 2013) Has a huge variety of repair parts than you can find in Home Depot. There are a lot of odd products which will help your project. Go outside the Depot. Of course, the price is no match to the Home Depot. But price is not everything. These guys know the products they sell. And I found their Benjamin Moor Regal paint is very good. The unique matte sheen is good balance between flat and eggshell. And the paint magically does not spatter out of roller or does not drip from brush. Expensive, but worth the money."
