"Staff is rude. No one acknowledged we arrived. When we approached the front desk, a very, visually grumpy woman told us she would be right with us. As we are not sink experts, we had questions. This woman was difficult, as if to be a jerk, didn’t answer questions with straight answers, instead in riddles, and then was absolutely unhelpful. I will not be returning. This woman was rude and refused to answer questions clearly, vaguely outlined issues we may experience but when we clarified she made up something else. We were later told she was having a bad day by a coworker. Head on home if you can’t act like a human being"

"Was sent here by my designer being I'm building a large home. After walking around the showroom for 25 minutes without anyone bothering to help me, their excuse was "they were busy" . Really, too busy to say "we'll be with you soon". I'm on my way to Advance Plumbing."

Herald's used to be our go-to shop (when we lived in MI years ago, when they were near 8 Mile), but now they can't barely speak to you when you enter, they seem reluctant to help, and they don't have any ideas on where to find what you do want when their displays don't have what you need. We will not shop here again. /// 3-6-23 I posted this originally 3 months ago, and Herald Wholesale responded today, asking me to clarify my statement of "their displays don't have what you need." Here it is - I explained to your disinterested staff at the counter that I needed a handle with a deeper projection than what your displays showed. When I say "projection", I'm talking about distance from the cabinet to the outermost part of the handle, so it's how much space you have to grab the handle. Anyway, we HAD a handle with us with which we were trying to coordinate more handles, and they said they had no idea what handles might have more projection. And that was that. We needed to buy 32 more handles or knobs (we just wanted to coordinate with the new island's handles, so we were open to suggestions), and no one cared to help us find out if any of the ones you had on display came in a deeper projection. I'm sure your displays carry as many styles/samples as possible, but we had hoped that by bringing what we had so we could buy complimentary handles, your staff would have the knowledge to figure out which of your manufacturers might have what we needed. They just didn't seem to care to help us. And frankly, your response seems passive-aggressive, even though you started it with "I apologize". Any time you put three question marks in, you are not being polite and sincere in your apology. And now that I see how my experience of being ignored in an EMPTY store, devoid of other customers, was not unusual - I just read several reviews - I truly will never shop here again."

"Never shop this place. This place has horrible customer service. Super disappointing experience. The owner's daughter is very rude. I purchased a TOTO toilet on Saturday morning and arranged a contractor to install it on Sunday. When the box was opened, damage was found. Because the store is closed on Sunday and exchange is not available. Rescheduling installation will cost me another $150 more. So I had contractor install it and reported the damage (also sent photos showing the damage) to the salesperson on Monday requesting a partial refund or store credit. After the salesperson talked to her management, I was informed neither partial refund nor store credit is possible, they said they can ship a new one to my house and take the old one back, but they are not responsible to re-install. That means I have to pay another $200 to install it. Also their price is more than $300 more than Home Depot for the same model Model# MS604124CEFG#01 I purchased. Home Depot price is $647.10 and their Their price is over $900."

"Overall a great experience selecting and ordering my foyer light. Showroom is packed full of displays. Would have given 5 stars but a newspaper ad for 40% off got me into the store and when I chose my light I was told coupon wasn't applicable to my order. Learned my lesson. ;( the fine print*****"
