"Buyers beware! The flooring department is a waste of time and money. We paid ($35) for messaurements to be done, with the correct measurement give from the start with a estimate of 12 yards being needed... The person who came out says we need 18 yards making it $100 more than estimated. He was over a hour late and rude. Along with stating that we didn't have electricity, or heat, and that their were pet stains and couldn't remove the carpet (the stains on there aren't pet stains, they are stains from my daughter's slime!) We called another company who came out for free and they actually tried to figure out how this guy came up with 18 yards being needed, they said the most they could see was 16 yards and that was a lot of extra leftover (the room is 8.5'x13'). I honestly want my $35 back, if you don't have time to do the job, just say so stop stealing people's money! We have a baby on the way, the last thing we needed was to waste money like this was and waste a whole day of our weekend waiting for them to show up."

"I had to return two damaged interior doors to Home Depot in Brighton, MI. The associate Taylor was so helpful. I had asked if we could Saran wrap them so they would not get damaged on the commute home and he was so kind to have assisted with that along with helping me put the doors in my truck. What great customer service and definitely a great employee."

"DO NOT SHOP HERE. They will screw you over like nothing else given any chance to do so. I received damaged goods beyond belief and a flat-out refusal for a refund or any resolution to the problems. I purchased new laundry machines and had them delivered. I even made the point of asking the sales clerk what to do if anything is damaged upon delivery, and he said "Don't sign for anything if there's a problem." I put in a specific date for delivery and bought the machines. The delivery people rescheduled my delivery without asking. I called the irritating Home Depot customer support line to fix that, and was "promised" that they wouldn't try to deliver on the wrong date. On that exact wrong date, I get a call saying that they're trying to deliver and I'm not home. Hurry up and get here now. After leaving work in a rush, the delivery people then ignore all of the instructions I had given the sales clerk, refused to do the setup I paid for, and delivered a smashed up piece of broken garbage (as seen in the photos). I was never asked to sign for the deliveries, so either the sales clerk blatantly lied to me, or the delivery guys FORGED MY SIGNATURE. Pretty obvious why they would do that kind of illegal sort of thing given the condition of the machines they delivered. And, of course, they left in a hurry before I could even inspect the situation. Refund? No, sorry, you signed for everything. Thanks, Home Depot! I'll make sure I and everyone I know never shops here again."

"If you need to repair anything at home, shop for gifts, paint your house or build something, this is the place to go. The Brighton store is clean and the staff are helpful. It is also dog friendly."
